What do you suggest I invest in? What do you suggest I invest in?

I thought I could use my older thread about this question but apparently it's closed.

So, this is the situation now:

I have $60 at pacific poker, playing $2.5+0.40 10handed SNGs. (16% rake)

I guess I'm profitable (though having played just around 250 SNGs), built the roll from freerolls and sngs. My options at the moment are:

- play sngs at the same client (its drawbacks being low traffic and big rake) until I win more money and then deposit (and maybe get a good offer)
- withdraw my money (although there are some problems with withdrawing atm as I didn't deposit money before that but I guess it's going to be fine eventually), deposit at one of the big sites (FT/Stars) and play with a better rake (still without any rakeback)

My question is - is option 2 so much better than option 1 that it's worth the trouble or am I better off just playing as I am now until I build a bigger bankroll and maybe find a good offer (and if yes - which room would you suggest having in mind I'm playing sngs)

It's better to use the **** thread for this kind of stuff but imo you don't have enough in play to worry much about rakeback but it would be better to play somewhere with less rake. When you do move to a "major", you'd make more RB at Tilt, but overall, Stars is better.

I suggest you move your roll if you think more serious about grinding. I haven't played there for a while, but the client is awful in comparison. You lose a lot of value from the high rake, in the long run. When you improve/move up, it will be hard to find enough games for you.

250 games is not a lot. You can easily be a losing player so keep this in mind and work on your game. SnG is unique and often the counter-intuitive wins you the most.

Stars has the best software, most players, most tournaments, good VIP system with "rakeback", really great customer service. The downside is that there are a lot of people who know how to play on Stars (and fulltilt), however that is no problem if you care about improving. ABC SnG is good enough way up in the stakes but to furtherly improve your ROI you'll have to exploit a lot of regs, or table select. The easiest way to exploit them is to call them wider than random players in the lategame. Tons of regs will put you on a tight calling range and shove ATC from SB with 10-12BB. Because they can do that against randoms.

With your roll you have a couple of choices. I wouldn't care about going bust too much with it since it should be easily managable to replace for you. You should start at the $3.4 either 10 or 18 man, if you're comfy with the format. Another option is the $5.2 DoNs.
You'll quickly establish roll for $6.5/10.4 DoN this way.
After that there's a lot of grinding until you move to $16. If you beat the $6.5 with good margin you'll also beat $16. Then you'll start seing some dollars in your account more rapidly.

I can recommend Neteller to transfer money between sites (and to your VISA for that matter). It's a little fuzzy to establish a full working account and you might have to deposit a little to get it working, but it's worth it.
If pacific accepts Neteller, this is a good option and you dodge a lot of fees doing it this way.

Best of luck.

only switch to FTP if you have at least $600 to get the full first deposit bonus.

Hi - I locked your first post because it doesn't belong in a strat forum, and I don't think this one does either.

STT Strat is for discussing how to play STTs, not questions about software or which site to play on.

Also, with 250 games you don't really know if you are profitable.
