IF you get full tilt with rakeback and you 4 table full ring 25NL 8 hours a day every day for a whole month you will earn approximately $650 a month in rakeback. With the same specs but 200NL your looking at close to $2000 a month in rakeback. This is all not including Iron man.

Bob, most of what you post is correct, but i think for microstakes players rakeback at tilt is the only option. The cash is deposited straight into the account with no clearance terms. also you keep the points you earned.

On stars the best bonus a small stakes player can hope for is the $50 one, which takes 350 points to clear. Why should i have to clear a bought bonus? If i buy a tv, dvd player or a porsche caymen i do not have to clear it before receiving it, and the fpps are more expensive for the bonus. ridiculous.

The latest instant cash credits they have in the store go a long way to address the balance between the two sites, they should make this a permanent addition.

You just have to sit at 4 of the loosest tables running at that time. Dont ever choose tight tables.

Well idk if ft do reloads but during my 700k hands at 2nl i probably made 150% rakeback with the reload bonuses they gave.

How much in reload bonuses did you deposit? How much total rake did you pay at 2NL during all your time to clear all your reload bonuses? How much FPP did you earn to release all your reload bonuses? HOw much time did it take you to clear all your bonuses?

Its very hard to earn FPP at 2NL.you might have to 10 table or higher to get a pinch of FPP per day.

Yes, you have rakeback at FT then it is definitely better for the low stakes and lower volume players. I was addressing the idea that FT could still be better for the microstakes players even if you did not have RB there.

If you are going to continue playing anyway then clearing the bonus shouldn't be an issue and certainly shouldn't be the determining factor on which site you choose. But obviously if you have 27% at FT that is likely going to be your choice.

Whether or not Stars gives you the cash credits right away or not and whether you have to wait until the following month to get your RB payment on FT shouldn't make any difference at all really.

I think his refering to FTP not stars.

Also your ballpark figures on rb aren't that off. People just don't realise how badly stars is screwing them at nl25.

It is nice to see your rakeback from FT come in faithfully every Friday though.

About the 4K$ Cash bonus from the VIP store... It now says that the bonus will be credited to your account when you have earned another 28K VPP. I'm just planning to move to stars but haven't been able to find any information about this. Do these VPP's still generate FPP's (that one can use for further bonuses)?

As I understand during 2009, the number was 50K 'base' FPP's instead. And these could only be used to clear the bonus. If the same rules apply, has the price of the bonus just doubled? (28K VPP = 98K FPP, when supernova)

Someone please clear this out for me so I can crunch the numbers for the coming year. Say I go for the 600K Milestone. How many 4K bonuses will I be able to get with that goal in mind?

The MILESTONE bonuses cost 50K FPP, and are instant cash credits. You do not have to clear them.

The $4K cash bonus costs 250K FPP, and then you have to clear/earn 28K VPP to release it. You do keep the VPP and FPP you earn during this process.

Hope that helps.

EDIT:
This should help:
http://www.fpppro.com/pokerstars-vip...calculator.php
Choose your starting VIP level.
Enter 600000 for VPP goal.
Enter .016 for FPP Value (since this is the value of FPPs when used to purchase the $4k bonus)
Ignore the tournament options part.
