Victory Poker Review. WTF? Victory Poker Review. WTF?

So after deciding to leave Full Tilt for good for various reasons, i was looking for a new poker room. I heard about Victory Poker starting up, so i decided to give it a shot. So I go to their site, which looks like it was designed by some high school kid for $200, and couldn't help notice their graphic logo, a martini glass and olive. This logo sucks guys. Sorry, but it just sucks. This was either MSPaint, or some cheap $5 template monster graphic. Like WTF?

Anyways, i downloaded their software and began the signup process. Now their main lobby skin, as well, sucks ass. Just Antonio air shuffling with some skank graphic and some not so well organized fonts, mixed in with an 8 bit 1996 Windows 3.11 interface. WTF. Seriously WTF did you guys spend your cash on.

So i check out the games, and there were 923 players on 232 tables. 923 players...on a Sunday. WTF. You guys (VP) spent too much cash on your boat trips, launch parties, celeb invite payoffs, and playboy bitches that you completely neglected software design, layout, and proper advertising. Even the dealers voice in your software is crap. He sounds like my 9th grade math teacher filtered through Microsoft Wave at 11khz. What a huge disappointment. Stop throwing expensive parties for yourself and your crew, pour A LOT more cash into your site design, layout, and offer huge freerolls or some sort of promotion. Why not have a freeroll where the winner gets a date with one of the Playboy bitches you hired, instead of just paying her cash to follow you around the Vegas clubs telling people all about how cool Victory poker is. WTF Antonio, get VP brass and your buddies all together, and get your **** together.

well regardless of how bad the software is, which Victory poker has no control over since it is the same software the entire everleaf network has their are hardly any games above 100nl and the the games that do exist are private tables that nobody can sit on.

Check the traffic details before playing on the site. Most people know everleaf doesn't have a lot of players.

Going from FT software to any other sites is going to be a downgrade IMO.

'The logo drew harsh criticism from members on the TwoPlusTwo forums, but Team Victory Poker pro Andrew “good2cu” Robl came to the artists’ defense. “I can see why some people don’t like Victory Poker’s logo as it’s not for everyone,” said Robl, a well-respected high-stakes cash game player. “But it was designed by Michael Godard, the No. 1 selling artist in the world; in general I think his work and logos are highly respected.”'

I havnt played at Victory yet and i dont know if i will but it seams like it was a ton of hype and nothing worth talking about since it launched. For anyone who has played over there has there been any high stakes games going on with their "team" or their "pros"? It would probably be smart on their part to have some of them play some nosebleed games in order to create a buzz and atleast get people to come and rail the games. I dunno, just my opinion.
