anywho, to expedite the matters I'd contact them via online live chat, but make sure you are polite and professional. From my experience CEREUS is #1 in the industry in terms of processing cashouts. And from past threads on this subject, they usually cover any fees associated w/ the bounced check, and often just WU the $$$ right away. But in your case, not sure it's even possible since the amount in question is so tiny... GL!

As much as I hate to defend UB it is likely that the check problem is not there fault...There have been recent processor issues(that effected FTP n Stars as well)...

well if it's their processor then it's their fault

you have to take responsibility when you hire out to perform tasks that are demanded of your company

and frankly if it's a core competency (alla tony hsieh) such as security or cashing out then you should never farm it out since that's what comprises the core of your business

i play on stars almost exclusively (save for some on tilt) but i had like $100 or so on UB that I never took out and thought that if I ever built up my account on stars and tilt and wanted to play other sites (as lots of regs do) I would just leave it alone

anyways, I decided to cash it out and got my check bounced

um so to call me broke and clueless completely misses the mark

OP, EVERY site has had problems with 3rd-party check processors from time to time, including FT and Stars.

UB will compensate you for you bounced check fees, relax.

i am not saying they need to do it on us soil if that's a problem, what i am saying is that if they run other portions of their business without farming them out they should consider running this portion of their business also as it is a crucial part of their business to ensure timely and secure payouts

Have you heard of the UIGEA? EVERY site that caters to the the US market uses 3rd party processors for checks. That being said, UB/AP, FT and I believe Stars, have electronic withdrawal options available. Thus, when the money arrives in your account your all set.

no i don't play that game so so much for that but I think you should chill when replying to posters who got screwed through no fault of their own

as for the UGIEA, it doesn't control what goes on over the border where a lot of sites have portions of their operations and where eg pokerstars processor comes from, that being said any site could own the processor and thereby handle their own processing

anyways, UB did credit the money back as they said their processor closed the account and they still don't know why and they said if I show them the $20 surcharge they will give me that back also but then in another e-mail they said they just put the $20 in my account as a show of good faith

so I thank them for their speedy resolution of this matter although I do not think I will be playing on their site anytime soon

as for the rest of you jokers who berated me may you yourself face such problems in the future and may you each go on the coldest deck streak of your lives...hex hex and all that...
