That's odd. Has anyone else tried if from an Android phone? It should work with any modern browser. They say:

Switch Poker has been tested on the following:

* iPad
* iPhone
* Firefox v3.6.8 or higher
* Chrome v5.0 or higher
* Safari v5.0 or higher
* Opera v10.60 or higher
* Internet Explorer v8 or higher (No sound. Compatability mode should be turned off.)

Yes, we are looking at Android support but I wouldn't hazard a guess at a release date yet. It will be 2+ months away.

FYI:
Quote:

FREE STUFF
The first 250 depositors of €50 or more who enter the bonus code FREEIPOD will get a free iPod Touch (RRP €229).

The first 100 depositors of €150 or more who enter the bonus code FREEIPAD will get a free iPad (RRP €499).

Prizes will be posted once you reach 60k SP points for the iPod and 100k SP points for the iPad. You earn SP points by playing at any of our real money tables. Your up to the minute tally is shown in your account page. The more you play the more points you get.
Not bad, 60KSP seems to be €600 in rake.

Are there any RB options - affiliates get at least 20% rev share - (upto 35%)

Hi Sarah, can i deposit via neteller (Im australian), preferably in US$ so as to avoid fees and such? I see the site says you do moneybookers it would be advantageous to allow neteller and other popular choices (i only have a neteller account which works great for all the sites ive played at and have no intention of learning a new ewallet at this time).

fwiw i tried play money and it was alright although the slider was a bit of a pain but i could see myself donking around with real money if i could get money on there from neteller or you opened up a new bonus

Thanks for the feedback all. There's been a great response to the site thus far. I have answered your questions inline below. If you want me to expand on anything, please just ask.

Currently you can open two tables on iPhones/iPods and 4 on iPads.
We hope to build a player base for higher stakes as soon as possible. So far we've had games up to 100NL running.

As noted by others, the site runs via the browser and sidesteps the App store and its regulations.

There is currently no site peer-peer fund transfer option. I can't offer advice on getting funds onto the site from within the US.

Yes, we plan to adapt the game to work on Android OS phones, but I can't yet give an ETA for this.

We are working on accepting Neteller payments. There is no ETA for this yet.

We currently accept a wide range of payment options via Moneybookers, including
Visa, Mastercard, Bank transfer, Amex, JSC, Diners Card.
And, depending on your country, POLi, eps, sofort, ePay.bg, giropay, Laser, CartaSi, iDeal.

We have had a lot of feedback on the bet slider and are working on some modifications.

Definally gonna have to try that
Cashouts should be pretty straight forward. As far as I'm aware, all cashout requests so far have been processed within 2 hours of ID being received. If you happen to make a cashout request during a very busy part of the day it may take a little longer, but we generally get the funds sent pretty fast.

I tried this on my Android yesterday, an HTC Desire, which has a fairly large screen (800x480 pixels).

(I actually assumed it would work, after first trying it in Firefox on my laptop, as the Android web-browser has been able to handle everything I've thrown at it so far.)

And it did sort of work, except the layout of the table was kinda bad, and it was difficult to scroll the screen so I could consistently see the full table and the buttons in the left border.

Nothing that seems all that hard to fix for someone a little competent in Javascript and HTML, so I'd be surprised if the switchpoker people aren't able to fix this sooner than what their rep in this thread gave as an ETA.

Yesterday, I saw this news elsewhere but I have not seen anything on this subject on 2 +2. So ...

Starting today, you can play 6max cash games. For fans of SNG and tournaments, you will be able to play in a few days. The proposed limits vary between NL2 and NL1000. U.S. citizens are excluded.

Very low traffic now, of course...

You can get details by visiting their website: Switchpoker
(copy their company name in Google)

PS. I don't know if I'm allowed to put a link to the website Switchpoker?

Incoming calls and SMSes are not a problem*. The game will continue on in the background. If you need to do something in the game of course, you'd be wise to decline the call or leave the SMS to be viewed later.

* If you happen to have 1 second left to act when a call comes in you may not have time to decline the call and act.

I understand there is no rakeback offer yet, but if I were to make an account, would I be able to get rakeback once you set up a program for it?

There's a whole thread on this. They don't exclude US players but don't have any payment processors for them yet.

SP Sarah, thanks for coming to the forums to review feedback.

Please add an option for a 4-Color deck as soon as possible. Playing from your phone it is extremely hard to distinguish Clubs from Spades.

I do like how thumbnails of open tables on the left, show which seat the action is on at each. Thats a unique feature I like.
