Sun Poker. Any good? Sun Poker. Any good?

Hi

I am considering opening an account at Sun Poker mainly due there current Rakeback offer.

Anyone played there.

I would specifically like to know about there software and the level of player traffic at .50/1.00 NLHE, and PLO .25/50 and .50/1.00.

Any comments appreciated

What time of day are you playing?

There really aren't many games going on crypto, through the European daytime you'll get between 2 and 5 nl100 games and 1-2 plo. In the evenings there are normally about 8 nl100 games going, not sure about plo.

This is for 6max btw.

I personally hate the software, it really tilts me, but most things seem to be tilting me at the moment. The play is really mixed, some good TAGs, loads of middle of the ground 28/7 types and some maniacs/LP fish.

It looks like most people on the site play in the £ or E games which seems really dumb since the rake is proportionally more.

European players, so I have to play early afternoon. (I'm MST)
Software conflicts occur.
Traffic seems to be fading (much like Prima).
Rakeback plus fairly easy monthly bonuses ($200 for me)
I will go back when they get Moneybookers.

I like theoretically being able to play in three currencies, but in practice because of the higher rake the Euro PLO games never run, and the £ PLO games almost never run.

I think it's still worth playing on Crypto because there are enough crazy/clueless players, more than on some other networks. But William Hill is the best skin to go with. You can get rakeback direct from them, too, paid every few days into your account.

What kind of bonuses does Will Hill offer now? Inter Poker and Betsafe are great in terms of bonuses and customer service. I like the software as well, but I don't like the Sun Poker graphics.

It's sad that more people aren't playing at the Cryptos, because they are really a great network with everything a poker player could hope for - except for lots of tables...

The only one I notice is the Pay to Play bonus. But to be honest I don't put in enough hands to pay that much attention. I've never had a deposit bonus from them and don't know if they're available. Let me know if you find out!

Will Hill do $500 a month no deposit bonus, it's supposed to clear $100 per 1000 points.

What is this about rakeback directly though them? I've had an account there for years which I started playing at again in Jan, I was going to switch to Sun to get rakeback but if I can get RB for WH I'll go there instead.

Why not get RB at one of the many skins (including Sun, I believe) that offer RB and bonuses that clear at $1 per 5 MPPS?

If you really want it at WH, I'm not sure about direct, but I was able to open a new account there through an affiliate for RB last year. Crypto has very lenient policies in regards to new RB accounts.

Yeah, I get it direct from Will Hill. Paid into my account every couple of days. Not sure the percentage, 20-30% I guess. Just email them and ask!

Signed up to Sun today with RB and there are loads more 100nl and 200nl tables, seems they don't share all their tables with the other crypto sites. Strange.

Just logged in to Inter Poker, and there are lots of NL100, NL200 and even NL500 tables as well. Maybe the Cryptos are doing better than we thought? Maybe I should give it a try, too...

So how do you sign up with rakeback? Is there a link I should use, a particular affiliate? Or do I just download, install, set up an account, and email SunPoker direct asking for rakeback?

What are they like for withdrawals - do they offer free withdrawals back onto your Visa card with the money going straight out of your account, like William Hill do, or is there a lot of bull****? I remember other Crypto skins such as Littlewoods Poker used to use a Cyprus-based payment processor and wouldn't let you withdraw money until you'd received a pin number in the post - I don't want to be dealing with that, of course.

Just wondering when I already have a William Hill account if it's worth my while setting up a SunPoker one for the low limit PLO games that are different.

ECash Direct handles their cashouts, and they charge a $1 fee (at least for Neteller). I've never needed a PIN to withdraw to Neteller, and cashouts are really fast. This is true for every Crypto skin I've played at.

I signed up through rakemeback.com, and I would recommend them, but I am sure, there are lots of other reliable affiliates.

Well in my oppinion SunPoker is the best!

We do have about 7,000 people on at our peak times! But since the US market went away it has been a lot slower. I am doing my best to come up with some promotions that should attract some more people to us

Okay well if SunPoker has the exact same games as William Hill but charges for withdrawals, I think I will stick with Will Hill, which doesn't. I already get pretty good rakeback on William Hill and it pays every couple of days, and I'm not high volume anyways since I single-table and not many hours a week. William Hill is super-reliable since it's one of the big UK bookmakers, with great customer support and you can cash out at any of their branches.
