How does everyone see FT's update and enhanced waiting list? I think it took some ideas from this thread and aligned it with their old system. So far I don't see that much change tbh. Not getting taken to any new tables that were just being created. Wondered how they were handling making sure everyone posted at least one rotation of blinds before exiting the table?

Cap all waitlists at 2 players. Waitlists have their uses but it just tilts the hell out of me when their are no open seats at a given limit but i see multiple tables with 8+ people waitlisted.

IMO, max 2 waitlist for hu, 6 for 6max, 9 for 9max imo. PLAY NOW button for all who wants to play instantly.

This is a good idea, but I have a feeling two things would happen by those that like to exploit every edge possible:

(1) Many people would play all their "free" hands, then sit out when the blinds got to them. If they randomly start in the blinds, they'd just play an orbit and leave - nothing lost. I have a feeling this "loophole" alone could make the whole idea moot.

(2) Those players that are really into game selection would use this feature, and immediately sit out if they didn't like their table.

With the combination of both of these, I'd think a majority of the time, a table would go from 9-handed to 4-handed or less within an orbit. (Though the other seats might quickly fill, and the game might get going regardless, which is the whole point I guess.)

** And I realize this is an old thread, but I'm just reading it for the first time, and those were the first things I thought of.
