Does anyone know where I could watch a recording of a sit n go from 2003-2005 period?
I'm just interested as to how they played back then as I only started playing in 2008.

If the stars align properly maybe those days could return in the future when the game is legalised again.

probably not.

the UIGEA sped up a proccess that was already well underway in terms of the games getting tougher and such. tbh, it didnt even speed it up that much.

WOW! I know people are always talking about how soft games were back then but really? I just read through a few hands on the $200 buyin SNG.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that the level of play at a $2.20 buyin SNG in 2011 has a higher level of play than that SNG

It was a different time back then. Not nearly as much multi-tabling. People made more moves, and the better players could figure out how to attack everyone mid-way through it. Sit n go's have become much tighter since the 12-30 multi-tabling began.

I had 40% ROI in the $10's just by playing 10/7 nit.

I think my ROI on Absolute was even higher - I used to cash out thousands and never played above the $10's and $20's and never really put in high volume.
