I was really stupid one night and after tilting off $2K I banned myself from playing on stars for whatever the max is. Is there any way to get this reversed. I really do not want to go to fulltilt.

Stars has a feature for people with no self control that allows you to ban yourself for a period of time if requested.Every few weeks someone posts here asking how they can play before the exclusion period ends after they ban themselves.Standard.

bmw - They are kidding. It is a really bad idea to try to set up a new account.

everyone - I think that suck jokes about breaking the rules that have a good chance of going over the original poster's head are pretty inappropriate.
Leveling type humor can be fun some of the time but there are other times where you have to be more careful because it really could end up getting somebody in trouble if they don't understand it's just a joke.
Fortunately, this guy wouldn't get in TOO much trouble if he successfully made his new account and Stars caught him....especially since he would be able to say, "But 2+2 told me it would be okay!" But I still think there are times where this type of humor isn't such a great idea.

Its not their fault I tried it before they "suggested it" and I would never blame it on 2plus2. I've been around here long enough to understand when people are leveling me. Plus I deserve it for starting such a piece of crap thread when it is not necessary. Ill just wait until the ban and keep playing in tourneys at my local casino.

I opened a 2nd account on Stars. they found out after like a year because I had to change some Neteller details. I just said I wouldnt do it again and they reopened it straight away

if u opted for ban in first place perhaps u should stay banned.

kind of a drastic step if you cant control yourself. gaming is not for everyone.....lol.

So yesterday I'm reading a thread OP made asking if he should buy a 2.5m house, a bit out of his range but he REALLY wanted it.

Now I'm reading a thread about how he banned himself from PS for losing two THOUSAND dollars.

That's a lot of money to a lot of people!

I realize that this is OT, but I still can't get over the concept of a piece of software that has a "keep me locked out X days" feature. I know it's a gambling site, and they're trying to placate authorities or something, but real casinos don't even have this feature. I can imagine the conversation...

"Excuse me, if I show up here tomorrow, can you please make sure I don't come in? I'm really mad I lost some money, and I need you to keep me out."

"Dude, I don't even work tomorrow..."
