I recently agreed with someone on 2+2 to a trade for some online monies. I got the confirmation email saying that the monies were transfered into xxx's account. It's been over two hours and he still hasn't sent me my monies. Am I scammed or paranoid?

Did you check their trade history out, sit at a table with them and verify they had the money to transfer and etc... ?

I looked around for any kind of previous shady activity from this person and found none. Probably should have dug a little deeper. I did not sit to verify funds. This was my first ever transaction like this so you live and you learn I guess.

Why would you post that, it has nothing to do with OPs question?

OP, did your trade partner say I'll ship immediately?
Have you tried contacting him/her?

I intended to imply that he should out that person without delay in the the Trading Thread. There are veteran traders there that can review and advise. If a scam has occured, time is critical.

Ok, I still don't see how posting a link to the 2+2 transfer thread TOS is at all helpful to the OP.

Edit: Ah, my bad... it's the clickable TOS and THEN the trade thread... sorry.

As far as 'outing' his trade partner, I'd at least try contacting him/her first before tarnishing someone who might be innocent of wrongdoing, and if a pretty quick response (say a couple hours at most) isn't forthcoming, then I'd post in the feedback thread.

OK guys the person in question has transfered me the monies. I would like to thank SpaceGhost, nimbus and Clamper13 for helping in this matter. Again, I have been payed. So this thread is now just taking up space.
