It's not really that strange. Stars has a good rep around here because their customer support was good, they took advice from 2+2ers, and they have 5+ site reps (who have custom titles pointing that out) who post a lot.

Real Deal, on the other hand, has had a few posters shilling for them, and then denied any relationship to the shills, while ignoring everything 2+2 has said and overall being aggressive when they post here. The guy behind Real Deal even denies any involvement with their official forums. They come off very snak oil salesman-y, where Stars has always been above board.

ok fair enough but i feel like it goes a bit further then that....look at the pokercasts and stuff(sponsored by Pokerstars but thats another issue)...they ignored the collusion botting stuff for the most part

In his defense he does have some competition. banonlinepoker is right up there, along with the many riggies who go overboard on their trolling and eventually get banned... only to return as somebody new.
