Pokertime and the bonus cheating Pokertime and the bonus cheating

This site is offering $10 free bonus for the new players. I got those $10 bucks and ran it upto $880 in just 3 days after winning a couple of MTTs.

Well the thing I was about to play a guy HU called "JamWGettys" that was seating alone on a 6 max table. Suddenly a random account appeared with a$10 stack, he raises to $9.99 and then inmdediately folds to JamWGetys, so this guy kept the money. I watched him repeat this process for at least 30 accounts on more than 1 table. I counted like 30 accounts, no kidding. He moved to another table everytime I sat down on his table trying to avoid the scam. He stacked over $120 and he continued to do this for hours.

I told him he was gonna get caught, he just laughed at me and told me to shut up. A couple of hours later, I watched again and this time there was another account called "kkubbcc" (or something like that) and was doing the exact same thing as JamWGettys, he was probably the same guy doing it with another account to avoid getting caught?

I reported to support, I also chatted with live support about this stuff. Their answer was "Microgaming is monitoring right now". Ok I said. Then after I named him some of his fake accounts, he told me they were all from different countries (Belgium, Germany, England, etc), which seemed to me a pretty dumb argument to say he was not cheating.

I lost money to this guy as he was chip-dumping with one of his fake accounts, but that's another story.

My question is, is there any kind of regulation on this stuff? I have no idea how much time he took to make all the accounts but the site doesn't seem safe at all with this kind of things.

whatever

He can do this pretty easily with a dynamic IP conn and sign-up trough proxies to create the fake accs from diff countryes. It's pretty obv that this is gonna blow up in his face when he tryes to cash-out, but good thing u reported it tho.

Ok, I've already made a thread talking about some guy multi accounting on cashtables. I accidentaly joined one of his tables he was sitting with 1 of his multi accounts. When he raised, and I tried to 3bet him but his 2nd account would push all in, and his first account was obv calling leaving me in huge disadvantage. At least 2 to 1 in his favour to win the pot.

I lost many pots against this guy, I actually played few pots but lost them all.

I also reported how this guy cheated the free bonus by making multi account sitting on empty tables and collecting all the bonuses from all of his accounts into 1. He sat with $10 stacks, and push $9.99 so the main account will get all the money. He did it with at least 30 accountsm, stealing hundreds of dollars from the free bonuses.

I decided I should report this scam, took my time, emailed them with the name of their multi accounts, I also contacted chat support.

So, I e-mailed them about how am I gonna get refunded since I lost money in a very unfair way. I told the site failed to give game interegrity and security to his players.

The matter was escalated to MicroGaming and the feedback we have received indicates that MicroGaming will not be able to refund you for any of the hands in question.
Please note that the instances of chip-dumping that you reported to us would not have affected any of the hands that you participated in. Chip-dumping is a method illegally utilized by certain players to increase the available balances on certain accounts and is also in some instances utilized to increase the rake generated on accounts. It cannot and does not influence the cards that are dealt to any players that may be present at a table where these individuals may be active.
As these individuals could not influence the cards that you were dealt, you would have had the same chance at receiving a winning hand as at any other table while playing against any other players. The eventual outcome of any hands that you chose to participate in is therefore not under dispute as these players had no control over it. Any funds that you may have lost to these players cannot be refunded in the same way that MicroGaming would not remove any funds from your account if you should have won while playing against these individuals.

Lol, they just don't understand how they took my money. Let's say cheater has accounts A and B. A raises pre, I 3 bet him, and B pushes all in. Lol they did this stuff lots of times and I end up losing all of my stack. Lol their explanation made me laugh. Unbelievable.

I explained all this and got a second response:

Thank you for contacting PokerTime Support.
The collusion advised on is when 2 or more players conspire to increase their rake or account balances.
These players, playing together do not have knowledge or effect over your hands or cards received and decision to play for any hand.
Unfortunately the feedback based on the occurrences for the play was that a refund will not be considered.
‘’Any funds that you may have lost to these players cannot be refunded in the same way that MicroGaming would not remove any funds from your account if you should have won while playing against these individuals’’
this feedback is from MicroGaming and unfortunately a refund for the hands won or lost or the table buy – in is not being offered to be refunded.
I apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your time and understanding.
Please contact us again, should you have any further queries.
Kind regards
David

So shameful, they thanked me for reporting the cheater on a previous e-mail and they said they took the approiate steps so this won't happen ever again to anybody else, but they refuse to refund me for losing money unfairly against the cheater? So I had to pay my money so they finally sovled the problem and the cheater was caught...

In other words they are blaming me for not realizing he was multi accounting. So next time I should know who's cheating and who's not, since they are such a joke and they can't do anything about it.

This is the reason why this kind of sites are so umpopular, they won't take responsability for anything, and they would abandon their players anytime.

I strongly recommend you don't play on MicroGaming poker sites ever.

You sure did. Is there a reason we need a second one?

After the Tusk and Eurolinx scandals, there's a lot of people who would have told you this already.
