Looks like some regs are sitting out on 20-50bb tables until they refill so they don't disapear, 20-50bb games will probably be running a while longer than perhaps expected.

I'd guess there would be a server restart before march 1st so I'd say under.

The FR cap games are actually less popular then I thought they would be, above .25/.50 there are very few games. i thought the vast majority of 20-50bb players would naturally switch to cap but it looks like they are choosing 35-100bb tables.

Filtered for 6+ players, there are only 6 FR cap games from 1/2 to 3/6. Maybe these numbers will increase once the 20-50bb tables are all phased out, but for now those tables aren't taking off.

Great first day ... tables felt better and, as Tim mentioned, 100bb max games seemed to get bigger and better and CAP didn't seem to change. Love it. Hope this trend continues. Should be a great weekend of poker and a great rest of the year.
Lol I totally imagined you sitting behind your screen with a red head and a smile of enjoyment on your face watching the amount of 50bb tables getting lower.

I think a big reason for this is that the 20-50bb tables didn't stop renewing tables until 12am cet and hands played at none cap tables don't show up at the cap tables therefore the regs don't have hud stats on anyone, many of them will have just played the 20-50bb tables whilst they could until the stats issue was fixed.

Learn to shortstack, thats all i can say. . . the fish loves the way shortstackers play pushing/folding game gives them a funny dinamic and thats my prediction, cap tables will be the most popular ones and will continue being while they're not totally deleted

Your 'predictions' haven't gone so well for you ... like the guarantee you made that 20-50bb would remain for instance.

you cannot assume that somebody who plays 20BBs all day long has some sort of working brain... makes me sick that these people are (hopefully WERE) able to make some money out of rakeback...

True dat. And than they have the nerve to complain about ANYTHING related to poker or poker sites. SS are destroying the games for everyone who wants to play real poker. For regs but also for recreational players who also want to play real poker. SS are just bad in every way so they need to S T F U. Now they have their own CAP games, let them shove on eachother there.

I haven't had a chance to read the last few pages, but imo this is the hardest time I've had all year finding good games. I'm playing 2/4 and 3/6 any table type

You mean today after the changes? I play six max midstakes and I already clearly see a lot more "newer" players today. There are also a lot more CAP games running. Even though a lot of 20-50bb games are still running.

I'm thinking this will result in less cash game tables running at least at midstakes. anyone else have thoughts on this?

i take notes on every player I play against and I'm finding less new players.

I do have one theory for me though. I This could easily be due to me being able to find good seats on the 20-50bb tables really easily since the shortstackers were constantly leaving and many pros refused to play those tables. It meant awesome seats were constantly coming available.

I feel a little cheated because it'll be another 10 days or so before we'll have a good idea of what the changes mean, and starting SNE 7 weeks behind... why even bother?

These changes were supposed to be announced in 2010 and implemented on January 1st ...

Now PokerStars isn't even willing to offer players who come back an extension on SNE or any kind of VPP forgiveness for the 7-week dead period.

The word "shortstacker" no longer has any meaning. Shortstackers are gone.

You're Cappers now.
