you see how much hassle it is dealing with an organisation like this? i don't know why they are targeting me, i have no relation to pokerstars as a business or know anyone personally who works in that organisation. all i can see is that i have obviously had my identity stolen and nothing they accuse me of makes sense. firstly i'm going to report this to someone higher up the chain to get more answers. obviously i will not be the one losing my deposit money here and i will fight until i get my funds back.

it has got to be the first time in my life i've ever been caught in a scam like this, i would advise anyone to think twice about online poker. you never know what is being done with your money, all you can see is a dollar figure in your account balance which is just a pixel coded by a programmer. i am convinced that this whole operation is a scam and i would go as far as to say a ponzi scheme.

a) i deposited via cc, therefore my withdraw would be by cc, why would they need my mailing address, i'm not asking to receive checks in the mail? as you can see when you disclose personal information on the net, this is the outcome, your identity can be stolen and used by fraudsters

b) i've read about online players who's identity were unknown, i didn't see there was anything wrong with this, also there have been posts on here where people who registered with different names later updated this information, so why is this brought on me?

Edit: At this point, you're going to have to realize everyone here is probably going to believe PS and not you. Nothing really you can do about that, that's just the reality of the situation based on everything we've seen in the past from threads like these started by brand new 2p2 accounts. We don't have the evidence that they have, nor the knowledge of the truth like you do.
b) at this point, i don't know what to believe, the fact that pocketfives banned me after i posted on twoplustwo makes me believe that all these poker sites have affiliations with pokerstars, its pretty obvious given their all promoting bonuses for these sites. therefore there is already a conflict of interest
c) i know what the truth is, and the truth is that i have been a victim of fraud and pokerstars have the wrong person. i admit, they might be basing it on incomplete information they have to come to that conclusion, but what made me suspicious from the start was the fact that they accepted my funds and CLEARED it from my bank account before making these accusations. do you see how a player would feel manipulated from this action, particularly when i had confirmation from one of their rep saying "you are entitled for an increase in deposit" that is what makes me angry and feel scammed

I know the pain. I was accused by eBay for being linked to some account from NY. I don't even know anyone in NY. They basically made it so I could not sell anything anymore. Even though I had sold for years with a pretty flawless history. Yet I could still buy stuff. I gave up on the fight but luckily I did not have money that I was standing to lose. I don't know how these companies link people but sometimes they are wrong. The biggest problem is trying to defend yourself. They cite things like privacy that make it difficult to determine if you know the person.

we have determined that you are the owner of both 'surv1val' and 'kashw00d'. These links are incontrovertible and are not due to fraudulent use of biographical details. As an example, your new linked Full Tilt account 'minkash' is a duplicate of the barred account 'Chuonga'. 'Chuonga' has the same mailing address as 'surv1val'. Furthermore, your PokerStars accounts 'kashw00d' and 'surv1val' are directly linked by technical resources. This in addition to your submission of documentation which reflect the identity of 'surv1val'.
Well played, Stars.

[x] Same mailing address as a banned colluder.
[x] Same technical resources (which I take to mean computer ID and IP address).

If Stars have got this wrong, it would be a huge failure. I don't think they've got it wrong.

duplicate? i only have 1 ft account named minkash and 1 ps account named kashw00d, what duplicate are they talking about because my mailing address on both ft and ps are exactly the same.
i have told them several times, i am not chuonga or survival, my middle name is khuonga and obviously my identity has been stolen to open an account. they have my id to verify all of this, i don't know how they are coming up with this.
Was this a previous account of yours, here? chuong nguyen

Make a small deposit, grind it up and cash out -> Deposit the maximum possible -> complain that they won't even let you make a living. Seems like a legit progression.

I mean, there's no chance you created a fake account, deposited small, played a bit and cashed out to check if you could get away with it before putting more funds at risk, right?

Presumably edited by Pocket Fives' admins, since it now says "Real name: Multi-accounter on PokerStars."

So if it's $150 to attract a new player (is that figure still accurate?) that means stars can attract like 6 - 7 new players thanks to OP.
