It also changes BR management. When you can get the volume of 24 tables with 4 tables then your initial outlay to be fully running is much less. I'm not a huge volume High Stakes guy but because of RUSH I was able to keep less money on FT than I would have if I'd needed to open all those tables

Also it takes seconds and no effort to be fully engaged and playing. No waiting lists. No slowly closing tables while you wait for the BB to come around to you. Doesn't seem like much but the lack of distraction and full play from start to finish adds up.

Also tables don't break up.

I hope they roll it out on my birthday Jan 30th!! It's all I will play

LOL no, there's no one definition that it "should" make you think about, since there are several, but blitzkrieg is the origin of the word.

That said, it's a pretty silly concern given how many different ways the word is used today.

The word 'blitz' remembers me blitz chess games. Why not to use something like 'Speed-Poker', 'Ultimate-Poker', 'Quick-Poker', 'Super-Poker', 'Ultra-Poker', 'Light-Poker' would sound better than Blitz-Poker imo.

After reading this I'm asking myself if the changes PS made had in mind the release of BP. Are those events disconnected each other or not, what you think guys ? Seems pretty much PS will get a lot of rake with BP due that multitabling is very confortable to play plus I wouldn't be surprised to see some players having 4k hands per hour ( SNEs will do that, I'm sure ).

blitz is the german word for lightning

the germans used a very quick rushing strategy a lot which got called "blitzkrieg" because blitz is basically the defintion of very quick.

The word blitz was around long before 1939.

Just because doughnuts make you think of Dunkin does not mean that all doughnuts are Dunkin related. Doughnuts were here first and can't help that their name has been hijacked by Dunkin in your mind.

It's like the word "Downloaden" or many many other "Anglizismen" (Anglicism)
that we have in german language today. Download was english and there was "Herunterladen" in german. But because most of the IT inventions came from the US, words like downloaden, uploaden etc. made their way into german language.

I personally would really hate to see fast moving Poker called "Blitzpoker".

HUD free rush wouldn't even be poker. With no idea what type of opponents you are against and no ability to make reads or adjustments, you are left basically just playing your cards. The game wouldn't have an depth to it, people would just formulate what to do with what hand vs an unknown.
