Which site do you recommend I play at? I play about 20 hours a week at .10/.25 and .25/.50 and I'm looking to move up to .50/1 soon. I'm also getting 27% rake back at Fulltilt. How do they compare when bonuses are involved?

There have been a lot of threads on this subject. I think long term you are better off with stars, don't quote me. Plus i am not completely aware of how the ftp black card figures in yet.

Different minds differ on this matter. You'll find a lot of people who would say the exact opposite

Excellent, a completely new topic that's never been discussed before. Oh wait........

You'll have to do your own arithmetic on whether Stars or FTP is better for your playing volume, collectively considering your volume of play, your different win-rates on each site, how the contributed vs. dealt issue will affect how many loyalty points you accrue and consequently how each site's bonus scheme will reward you. It may work out that even with reduced bonus on one site you may be able to earn more over all because your actual bb/100 is much better.

For instance if you're a nit then you may be better at stars, if you're a lag then maybe FTP. Like a lot of questions in poker, the true answer is ..... it depends. Work it out for yourself.

Oh, and as for software, Stars >> FTP ainec.

I recommend you to play at Stars only. Don't play with FTP as I have read many horror stories about their support team and how they treat the players badly.

Stars have many more game choices for you to play and from the recent update FTP had, it turned me off with some players comment so I don't think I want to play at FTP ever again (haven't played for a long time there).

Probably you should go with Stars. The rewards are better for your amount of play. The opponents are more monolithic, so they're easier to play against. But if you really hate the tightness, you might check out Tilt. The Stars software is better in terms of dealing with an erratic Inet connection; otherwise Tilt software is better. If you buy Table Ninja for Stars, this is not so much an issue. Tilt has Rush - I can play about twice as many hands on Rush as other tables comfortably, but the players also play about 1 level stronger, so kinda wash. If player strength changes, that could become a factor.

The games aren't that tight on Stars - it depends on what you are playing. There are a whole hell of a lot more games than stupid No limit hold em. The people I was playing triple draw and stud with today were pathetic, it was like taking candy from a baby.
