Hello MrPerfectHOF,

Deposit and Cashout Transactions are currently disabled in your account as it has come to our attention that your account is associated with a player with whom we have an outstanding issue.

In order to assist you in clearing your account, we kindly request an explanation of your association to 'sungdeokpaik'.

It is standard procedure to request an explanation when this type of situation occurs. Since we have to make sure that you are not the same person as the above player, we would like to ask you to email or fax us a clear photocopy of your driver's license, front and back, or other government issued photo ID.

We do not mean to imply any wrongdoing, however, please understand that we have to make security checks routinely to make sure that PokerStars remains a safe and secure environment for its players.

You can scan your documents and email to "PokerStars Security" <security@pokerstars.com>. If possible, please include the code "REL123" somewhere in the Subject of your email.
My Response

I have never heard of this player or any person by that name. My name is xxxxx. I dont have a fax machine but im sending
u 3 clear photos of me and my ID. Please take this ban off of my account. I have never done anything wrong and would like to continue with poker stars. I have 0 association w/ this person whoever u are talking about none. I have not even signed in my account in a while. If someone
has hacked my account I want a new screen name. Please get back with me asap to rectify this situation Thank u REL123

PSS. I'd like to direct you to this thread... and I'm not even a loyal customer (yet). The point though is, if/when you're in the right, you will come out on top...
Ty for the ignorant response. U are judging that im writing bad checks good for you. Feel better? Oh and my grammer is bad? It's 2+2 and Im upset ill type whatever. Who cares?

Ok here, since I'm fair and try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.. here is what you do:

1. Send them your ID if you haven't done so already. Send it to security@pokerstars.com. Also explain any association you have with the guy they say you do. Also ask them to whom you need to send the money to via Western Union, and where.

Also send them a copy of your bank statement from the account you now say is closed. Surely you still have one... and if not you can request a copy, unless of course they closed your account because you keep overdrawing, or worse...

2. Wait for them to reply. You could also email support and state you have an outstanding balance and would like to settle it now via Western Union, and ask for the recipient details.

3. Put some clothes on.

4. Walk, drive or take a bus/cab to your nearest Western Union.

5. Fill out the "Send Money" form and send the money you owe.

6. Contact PokerStars again and inform them you have arranged payment via Western Union for the amount that you owe them. Give them the Control Number.

7. Wait for them to verify the funds.

8. Once verified, they will contact you.

9. Your account should be reinstated once they contact you.

10. Come here and tell everyone how easy it was to follow this 10 step process.

If you can't/won't do the above then well, go play on chilipoker or something.. they seem to welcome scammers there anyway...

OK if I write a bad echeck people in england. Guess what happens if I have 0 dollars in my account people from UK. In America my bank pays the echeck. My bank pays for whatever check I write.I have to pay my bank back plus 35 dollars for bounced checks people of the UK.
Now if I have 10,000 in my account and The US attotney general shutsdown the echeck processor. Pokerstars is never getting paid. Even w/ 100,000,000 in my account UK guys.
The US has the UIEGA law it places restrictions on financial institutions.

Yeah, who cares that you sound like a rampaging 15 y/o who just got caught with his pants down watching illegal porn... I mean, you're super serious about your account on PokerStars, super serious about getting supernova, super serious about being such a "loyal" customer that you can't even take 5 minutes to type up well thought out and rational replies...

Ok then.

OP try reading what you write and work on your communication skills.
See again what Stars wants from you, try to oblige and then, maybe, if lets say you have not done anything wrong or they let you make up for it, you might be able to play there.

They are more then reasonable.

For now, most people including me, will go with, you have done something wrong.

Or you can keep entertaining us.

Joey I hope you get this worked out man. I mean it, good luck.

The other thing I'd like to ask you though is about the banned software, are you currently using it on FTP? Was this just a one time thing, and you were not aware of the rules? What other software do you use? Thanks

Here you go:
Quote:
This morning I reached the 1400 fpp found myself with 555 € (I was over the 570 2 days ago but the last 2 days were bad son).
I made a cashout of 500 € and I received this alert:

What the hell?? I am not associated with any "sungdeokpaik" not even know what it is and not even google helped me ...

Now of course I am writing to support but if anyone knows anything let me know

Matthew

PS: Happy birthday pokerstars.it

EDIT: after 5 minutes of my (polite, of course), I get this:
===========
Dear Matthew,

Thank you for contacting PokerStars.

We have taken measures to forward your mail to the department responsible
control account, which will follow his request directly.

We thank you for your patience, we're sure they will receive a response
as soon as possible.
===========

On the one hand the usual praise for the speed with which the other match to be involved with something that concerns the department account control makes me a deep sadness.

Only now I understand the feelings of those people posting msg in which they were involved in unpleasant situations against their will without having any guilt.

I will keep you updated
To be honest, the whole "association with player x" is probably non existent. I had a similar situation with them where they initially said someone logged into my account from a different location, then later the real issue came to light... Maybe they make up the initial reason in order to obtain the information they requested easier? Speculation only...
