Other than that, all you're talking about is the rumour that because Canadian-based Amaya just bought Poker Stars, they may at some point feel compelled to leave Canada. Stars say they plan to stay and thus far there's no solid reason to believe otherwise, but one never knows what the future may bring.

This is my story. I just moved to Prague from NY. End of story.

I'm very happy to play on PS. Just amount of traffic on there brings on a chubby. I use to play hyper turbos on Carbon, BCP, etc... Now I'm getting back into hyper turbos on PS. I play around 6 hours a day. Stop every now and then to take a poop, eat or bull**** with a cat or two. Is Pokerstars the best place to be doing this for rewards and other goodies? Look I'm aware of the edge of this game. It's tiny. After 10 hours of play, I'm breaking even. That's why I want the goods. I did manage to hit ChromeStar status in about 6 hours of play. I'm cool...

So ya. I'm aware that PS doesn't offer rakeback. They're traffic is amazing so I can continue playing forever and forever. My ass hurts...

I am looked to signup with a site that offers daily/weekly rakeback, and decent traffic.

So far it looks like Intertops is my best bet? 36% rakeback with a good deposit bonus, how is their traffic?

sounds like u r in the USA. as for direct rakeback you either have to go intertops/juicy stakes or Winning Poker Network. if i were u i would check out this thread. i would not be surprised if ur post gets moved here as well

For short term rewards, Pokerstars is best. For the login term profit, I'd say SWC. SWC offers low stake cash games with zero percent rake, and 2.5 percent after that. Long term, you cant beat 0 to 2.5 percent rake.

I have been looking at some other sites since I only play on pokerstars and was wondering what other sites are trustworthy?

I know 888, however I hate their software and it drives me nuts so I will not be looking into that - aswell as party poker.

The WHP software seems really clean with lots of personilazing possibilities and games seem big..

My biggest concern - How safe is money with them?

Some sites say they are part of the iPoker network and I know that was a bad case some while back, however I am clueless when it comes to this since I have never looked at anything other that pokerstars before.

Ipoker is brilliant for me

As you guys probably already know by now that poker stars have discontinue their services with a lot of countries and there are probably a lot of poker players (ME!) that are affected by this.

I've read the ranting post on 2+2, everyone from these region that plays fulltime is probably pretty piss off atm. It was a rather disappointing to hear PokerStars make that decision.

However, after being shock and upset for a few minutes I start looking into other online sites like party poker or ipoker network. I have not played in other sites except for fulltilt and stars for 5-6 years now, I guess its time to move to other sites.

Would be nice to hear any advice from other players on whether there is any sites that have a good player pool and decent rakeback/bonus/VIP systems out there and their experience with their software/UI and all. Not forgetting how much rake they charge or any random withdrawal fees/problems. Thx in advance

For those affected by this, I'll say move on. I will probably start trying one or two sites until I find something I like. The software probably wont be as nice as pokerstars or fulltilt and it will take you time to get used to. Their bonuses probably wont be comparable too. But I do what I do because I love it and I aint going to stop doing it just because stars/tilt decide I cant play on their site.

So I'm moving on. Suggest that you guys do the same. Gluck all.

If you want stupid volume, bovada & carbon are probably the only ones that suffice...not even sure if these sites run these games often, but as far as traffic, these are probably the most. Don't know about ACR. they can't even fill cash games during the day, so who knows with hyper sngs.

recent announcements have made people concerned but nothing truly to worry about however the latest announcement by stars shows it is not sensible reliable realistically achievable or practical to rely on an income from playing on pokerstars anymore.

it is now no longer the slightest question of staying at stars the only alternative now is to give up online poker and other jobs or to move to another site so it is time to start discussing what other alternatives there are to poker stars.
