Hi,

When I turned 18 I joined every poker site I can think of, trying to get the free bonuses and so on. The problem is I haven't got rakeback on any, which was a horrible, horrible mistake. I usually play on pokerstars because of the VIP scheme and the number of players.

I'm now looking to start playing on another site for 1-2 months grinding from scratch at 2NL and working up. I want to see how fast I can get up in the shortest time frame as a challenge.

I was thinking partypoker because of their VIP programme but I've heard thats been dropped. I'm looking to play around 20,000 hands between 2NL and 10NL. Could anyone recommended a site with a large enough player base where I can still get some type of VIP reward? Also it would be great to factor in where I would be best of in terms of rake as that is a big factor when playing the micros (or nanos).

Thanks

Pretty hard to recommend a site when we don't know which ones you still have available.

That's why I was asking for sites that had a VIP scheme like pokerstars, so that signing up for rakeback isn't needed.

Thanks

Bobo is saying that we need to know what sites you already have an account with before we can recommend any sites to you. If we do not know where you have played, we are likely to recommend playing at a site you already have an account with.

I saw you play 2NL-10NL, but how many tables do you normally play at the same time. Even if you don't have Rakeback on some Networks, you can simply sign up for a different "skin" on that Network and get Rakeback that way.

Is there any other safe places to place. I'm Canadian so I can play anywhere. How is Titan Poker? Carbon Poker? Party Poker? Any feedback is appreciated.

RPM is always a good option depending on what games you play.

GKskyHOOK, what games do you play? How many tables do you like to play at the same time? Doyles recently switched Networks in case you were unaware. The traffic is low at Doyles room currently. I do play on the same Network as Doyle's Room occasionally.

I play on sportsbook and I hate it. I figured games would be super loose because it would be filled with crossovers from the sports betting. I was wrong. Now it may vary because I pretty much only play small stakes mtt for fun and, honestly the worst part isnt that the play is good, cause its not, its that the choices for small stakes tourneys are CRAP. Was that a run-on sentance? I would say that the answer to you question would probably dedpend on what games and stakes you would like to play.

Recently my state isn't allowing for eCheck deposits anymore on PokerStars. I've read all the recent problems FullTilt has been having with several people. I've played on UB but after reading some of the horror stories about their cheating and slow payouts, I stopped playing there.

What is everyones opinion on the best online poker site? The most important thing I'm looking for is Visa or eCheck deposits and fast payouts without hassle.

There aren't that many US-friendly options other than the sites/networks you mentioned. There's Cereus (not so small), Bodog, the Everleaf networks, and Yatahay (no PLO to speak of there though).

I'm currently playing on Stars - I'm a micro cash game player and rake barely enough to get Goldstar, ie I'm throwing away money on potential rakeback that could be earned on other sites. In a new site I'd look for:
-Rakeback
-HEM Compatibility
-Reasonable site traffic at micro cash games
-Decent Software
in that order of priority.

I can't get RB on FT because I signed up with some ****ty affiliate code because it was the first site I played online and I had no idea what I was doing.

Any suggestions?

US player making the switch from Live 2/5 NL and 100-200sng's to online. I have been doing tiny buyins at FTP with rakebackpros but I want to switch. Pokerstars, FTP, UB, and Absolute are out of the question.

I see people saying you can't go wrong with merge - They all look the same to me, which would be my best bet?

Probably going to play micro limit/nl and maybe small sng/mtt's. I go to casino's 1-3times a week but its around 90mile round trip, so I want to instead deposit 300-1k on a site and make a hardswitch from live to online.

I just tried to deposit on pokerstars after not playing for 6 months and they arent taking e-checks from ny players anymore.

Are their any sites that still accept NY/US players without a hassle and with an immediate deposit?

Hi Guys. Just been looking through the thread on Supernova vs Blackcard trying to figure out where to put my action. Im still having some trouble deciding and it is a big decsion to make as if one starts at one site then wants to move to the other it really sucks to start from the bottom of the reward ladder.

Here is my position....

Basically I am getting annoyed at the terrible software of any site but Tilt and Stars. I have tried Party, but the integrated stacking console is terrible in comparison to Ninja and regularly lags out and generally freezes up. I have timeout folded AA one too many times today and its really annoying me. Has anyone else used Party stacking well? I don't think its my PC as it is pretty up to date. I just think the client is really clunky to start with then adding stacking just totally stalls it, especially when waiting for your turn on the waitlists while in session.

I am now willing to finally move to one of the other sites once I have cleared my closest increment of my current bonus as I will be able to easilly put in more volume using Ninja and dont mind sacrificing my 50% rakeback for higher volumes and the ability to grind my way to higher rakeback.

Realistically, I am only going to be able to achieve Supernova or Blackcard, SNE is out of the question. I plan to cashout all of my current roll and grind up from 25NL on either of the sites starting with a 40BI roll and 12-18 tabling. I plan a fairly aggressive BRM strat as I move up, playing 8 or so tables when taking a shot at higher stakes. Playing 25NL will take ages to achieve any type of decent rakeback.

Last month I played 35k hands without any real commitment, but with ninja and the less soul destroying wait to get on the tables I will be able to grind out at least 50kpm I would have thought.

It seems the general consensus for player such as myself that the rewards for BC and the slightly softer player pool are better than the stars alternative. Am I right in my assumptions?

I tried to work out the best rake deal but with the differing rake structures on euro and the big sites I found it difficult to crunch anything worthwhile.

I already have a Tilt and stars account from years ago when I literally just started. I plan to either open another bank account to be able to bonus whore the FT bonus and sign up through rakebackpros.com or email FT directly and plead for rakeback on my current account.

Any comments on my plan are welcomed as I plan to move my action and purchase Ninja ASAP.

Many thanks
