which other site/sites could offer me an interesting amount of SnG volume(9 to 18 handed) , mainly at the 10-20 dollar/euro stakes? around 15h-23h CET.


Im looking into 10 tabling at least, preferably normal speed/knock out but turbo would do too.


Im asking this as Im trying to get some rakeback and sign up bonus on other sites.

PS: as Im a total clueless grinder, when there are sites like ongame or so, there are different skins but you can still play against players of other skins, making it a combined pool of players available right?

I could be way off on this, but for sngs i think the only good sites are ps/ftp. For tournaments its ub/ap (supposedly the competition in the mtts is lolbad). For cash (if you want to win a lot) its European sites or PS (if you want to play a ton of hands).

Ipoker run a few - upto 60% rakeback as well.

I'm looking for a new site/network.

Currently all of my action is on FTP. I'm Canadian and would love a network that doesn't allow americans.

I wouldn't be making a massive deposit and would most likely start at 200 or 400nl but I would like the possibility of being able to play higher, so sites where 10/20+ runs would be nice.

Here's what's important to me (the standard stuff)

- decent RB
- semi-decent software
- trustworthy skin/network
- easy to transfer and withdraw funds
- large enough player pool in midstakes games

I'm trying to find a good site to play the pokerz on. I already have accounts at Fulltilt/Pokerstars but I want rakeback and a nice signup bonus.
I play microstakes 6-max PLO, ranging from PLO2-PLO10 but I might quickly move up because the players are often terrible, so I like a site with some decent traffic in micro PLO. Traffic doesn't have to be too big because I'm only playing 4-6 tables at once. I've already been thinking about Entraction/Cake/Merge, but I'm not quite sure which one to pick.
So do you guys have any thoughts you'd like to share?

Which stakes do they offer, and do they have a decent playerpool in the micro's for PLO?

no idea about the PLO but they seem to have decent traffic 24/7 in NLH so PLO traffic shud be okay.
looking in there now there is lyk 8 tables of micro PLO running, nothing special, but more than UB has. thats were i play micro PLO and NLHU


in NL they have up to 2knl

ryt now there is only lyk 3 NL400 tables running, but about 12-15 NL200 tables.

US only... Im looking to play on a site where i can get rakeback... currently cant get it on stars or tilt.

what site do you think is the safest to keep my money on? I know AP/UB is the 3rd biggest site for Americans, but have been shady in the past. I've looked at carbon but the player pool looks kinda small there, and i dunno how safe it is to keep money there since its such a small site maybe it can go under?

i can't seem to really find any other big sites for americans, is AP/UB really my only option? note this is for 100nl-200nl, so i need a decent player pool for those stakes on the site.

Just hang in there a couple more months and all will be well. You will be able to play a US site and get treated well.

UB/AP and Merge, that sir are your only others options (neither bad choices imo)

UB is safe and quick when moving money. even the UB haters here say they wouldnt worry much for the safety of hte actual cash. just the integrity of the games

I can understand if you choose to play at AP, but to recommend and actively guide new posters and others to AP like YourSoulInMyPocket and Yanksman2009 have done multiple times today is pretty bad. Way to help the community guys, keep up the good work. The snakes at AP appreciate it im sure.

if you look at the trend of the global community, countries are swiftly moving to ban online poker rather than legalize it. america is not the only country here.

ub/ap would be the most logical choice as far as money being safe from insolvancy but of course you know about their past. so take a chance and see how it works out.

I do not personally feel that any US site other than PS/FTP is safe enough for me to try right now. I feel that, in addition to the several recent security issues at smaller sites, there are issues of efficiency of deposit/withdrawal for US players.

Everybody gets rakeback on Stars. Granted, for lower volume players it's a really lousy percentage of rakeback. But it is still enough to make it incorrect to say you can't get it.

If you play a reasonable volume on Stars you'll be getting 30% or higher. The highest volume players there are close to the 70% range.

how do you figure supernova elite is 70% rakeback? Isn't a ton of the things they give you buyins to tournaments. I mean they have value of course, but it's no where near the same as getting cash like how rakeback normally works.

Merge is infinitely better than Cereus.

ATM Cereus seems the best choice although Merge may also be a good choice as their player base has gotten a boost from several skins migrating over.

While Cereus gets deservedly bad press from past criminal-like activitiy, the truth is many informed online professionals play on the site and it is the 3rd largest in North America (although well behind PS and FTP). It offers varied and busy cash games, has a ton of promotions, and one of the best MTT structures online.

The new ownership (that appears as though it has a good history in online gaming) can only help matters by getting us one more owner removed from the mess.

Back when it first started UB was a very promising site and looked as though it may be an industry leader. Extremely poor customer service, bad software, then cheating scandal followed. NOW imo, UB has a good chance to put the past behind it and become a more reliable site and increase the customer base as people look for reasonable sites other than PS and FTP.
