But then at NL50 it flies up to DOUBLE Stars, which is crazy. So I guess I'll just play GG until I get to that stake and then think about where to go?

I havent heard anything in that regard but i would think that they still dont like regs much who never buy insurance so if they come after you or not depends abit as well on how you managr yourself. It's certainly abit higher risk than other apps but should be safe enough to play if you "behave" GG has consistently good games bc of good marketing+promotions. Rake depends alot on gametypes you play and on average its expensive but also not outrageously expensive (at least for most variants)

I'm primarily a live rec player, but practicing 6-max FF NLH online to improve my game. I play the microstakes at 888.

I enjoy the efficiency of this format. I also appreciate the more difficult competition, because my goal for online poker is to study / improve by playing better players, not to make money.

That being said, I would like to eventually win some $$$ some day (more as proof of my development as a player, not the $$$ itself, which for online stakes will probably never matter to me). I've only played on 1 site and would like to know what people think of this format across different sites.

Are there major differences in player pool tendencies / skill level? I've heard of 888 being super-soft, although I don't feel that even at 10NL. Maybe I'm just *that* bad though...

Are there major differences in rake structure that make 1 site more difficult / easier to beat?

And (for players who have been around this format for a long time), do you see any trends of any sites gaining or losing popularity?

I've read in many places that 888 is the 2nd largest poker site in the world, though I'm not sure if that is still true in 2020. I'm guessing a lot of those players play standard tables and tournaments, but the FF player pool at 888 is surprisingly tiny to me, and getting tinier over the last year or so that I've been on there. Regular traffic is basically capped at 25c/50c, with sometimes a handful of players at $1/2. The 50c/$1 FF table never has any players.

All the sites are relativelly soft/basically the same up to NL50. Play the one who has the best software in combination with the lowest rake.

I don't think 888 is even in the top 5? Stars, party, ggpoker, winamax, wpn probably have more players. I don't think winamax has rush/fastfold though.

Wpn is the toughest. 888 and ignition are softer

No, they don't really have any SNGs. Just their lottery sit and go, Spin & Gold.

What is the best place to play fast/zoom poker on micros and lowstakes (10NL-50NL) atm? From what I found Stars has best traffic, no Rakeback and medium strength opponents. GG has solid traffic, too, high rake (raking preflop I.e.), offers some RB (although PVI), softer opponents but no way of tracking results. Party has decent traffic, solid RB but no tracking/HUD and rather tough opponents and WPN is also rather tough with good Rakeback, working HUD but no traffic on 25NL. Most of the time there is only a 10 and 50 NL pool...

Is that correct? Which site do you prefer and would recommend to build a bankroll? To me it really looks like tragic choices...

You can dl hands at party to analyze your own game. Opponents are anonymous. Imo you should just play x ammount of hands on all sites and decide after that. And I think you can't clear the deposit bonuses playing gg rush if you are planning to use one.
