Yes, I always find it comical that someone would activate an option that makes it easier to read the cards.

When I go to synagogue, I can't help but snicker at the senior citizens who use the large-print prayer books. Using these books in order to easily see the text on the page is laughable.

They're expressing their opinion just like you are. Who's hating on who is a matter of perspective. IMO, OP is the OH.

You can self-aggrandize, belittle mutlitablers, and/or whine all you want.

Players making mad loot don't give damn what you (and other haters) think.

At the end of the year, it's all about who has the money.

As for the video game analogy, yes and no. Video games (unless you're some kind of gaming pro) don't have monetary importance in the grand scheme of things. Halo isn't important. Being a marine is serious **** (shout out to ones serving or have served). Guitar Hero isn't important. Being a musician is serious. Live poker and internet poker are both serious if you play it to earn a living.

In that sense, it's poker. Decisions are made, tells (there are plenty of online tells) are recognized, betting patterns exploited. Just because they're two different animals does not make them both poker.

If you're not really trying to improve or optimize play and/or income, then it inherently becomes an online gambling video game where the money doesn't really matter, which then equates it to Halo and Guitar Hero.

I don't understand how a person can be so ignorant to actually make an OP like this.

I think you just made my point stronger. Except for the "mad money" nonsense.

OP coming here and denouncing multitablers is about as effective as going to a KKK meeting and denouncing racism

I play 2 tables if I'm doing turbo SnGs, and 4 tables if i'm playing a ring game. Playing 2 tables on a SnG still allows me to get a feel for the players at the table and form some basic observations on their betting habits and play style. I don't see what is wrong with this.

I sort of see where you are coming from OP, but to each his/her own. Its their bankroll, their chips, and their time. I don't care how many other tables you are on, the principal is the same for me. Figure out ways to take your chips. GG

GMAFB
We all play based on some "formula" single tablers sometimes have more variables to work with

Always surprised when the older generation can get their computer working to get mad at us interneters who are playing as many as FIVE tables.

You can multitable video games? I had no idea!

This changes everything.

EDIT: I keep timing out, though.

lol do you really think the people that play 6+ tables just randomly click buttons based on suits and card numbers? The people that succeed at playing many tables at once have started small like everyone else until they developed a thought process which they use to approach each hand. As you keep playing your confidence in the way you think about hands, and the speed you're able to do so should be increasing all the time.

Of course there are people that go overboard with the the multitabling and completely stunt their growth as players by becoming way too robotic, but most of them are content with just grinding out their FPPs to buy cash bonuses with.

my point here though, is that if you're having trouble playing more than one table you should probably be reevaluating the way you think about poker. Live players tend to usually have a very flawed thought process with regard to playing hands. You talked about playing 5 tables at once like the guy was crazy. That's really very few tables actually. You're playing 9 handed, how long should it really take you to decide that you don't want to play 64o from middle position?

this is just such a ridiculously lol comment. Playing a ton of tables mindlessly would make you a terrible praying to be breakeven nit. Being able to apply your thought process to multiple decisions in short spans of time and win over the longterm is a whole new level of poker skill
