I keep hearing about some sites being totally s**t for either their customer service, software reliability, liquidity of tables to play at, or some other reasons.

To save me the hassle, as I'm looking to join some new sites to clear bonuses, can you give me your opinions on which sites you love and which sites you hate and why? (personal experience views please)

Cake support rocks, but software is awful.
Ub/AP self explanatory.
Pokerstars of course has amazing support/software and a good bonus now.
Full tilt is good but their support is god awful

Personally, I've used pokerstars for about 2 years, but finally got tired of them and their BS...switched over to full tilt and haven't looked back since. Much better support and overall nicer people...the only thing i miss from stars is the slick interface but it wasn't worth putting up with their shenanigans

Switching from Stars to FTP for better support, thats a first.

Stars and Full Tilt = 2 best sites hands down
Cake = shaky customer service, but not a bad site.
Bodog = not bad, money to be made
AP/UB = play there only if you want to be cheated
Merge = decent site, carbon actually has good software, but withdrawls take awhile

No sites really suck it's just stars and tilt are light years ahead of everyone else.

UB is awful LDO. Avoid.

FTP for micros, Stars for bigger players.

Dude, Tilt has the reputation of having some of the worst CS is the business. Cake has terriffic CS on the other hand, and always has since day one. Im not sure why you got it so twisted.

IME Cake has terrible support

Is this a level? Depends what Cake skin you are on. Some are just downright shady. Cake itself and Doyles room are horrible. Don't get me wrong they are good rooms to play, very profitable but customer service/withdrawls are just shaky. Meanwhile Full Tilt while not always perfect is a class act for the most part. And most people are gonna agree with me.

Really in all seriousness what are the complaints with Full Tilt? I mean sure there are always gonna issues at any sites sometimes but are there any real issues with Full Tilt. They are light years ahead of everyone else but stars.

Cake's support has always gotten back to me within 30 minutes it seems like.

You havent been around on the forum that long but they have a horrible track record in CS. It wasnt too long ago you couldnt open up the zoo without seeing them freezing accounts left and right, most everytime the way they went about doing their business was really really bad. Not explaining what was happening, in some cases not communicated at all with the player for ridiculous periods of time regardless of the individual case and whether the player was guilty or not. Many people wouldnt put their money on FTP with a ten foot pole at that time. Generally poor CS, things like responding to emails ten days later has become a trademark of FTP. In fairness to them, they seem to have gotten better with closing accounts on the drop of a dime and maybe they even do better in general CS these days, you can answer that better than me. I havent played there in over a year. But rest assured to compare their CS legacy to Cakes, which is widely regarded as second only to Stars in the online poker world, and come up with FTP being light years ahead of them, is way way off the mark imho.

Maybe im crazy i have had only good experiences on tilt but maybe I have been lucky. My main argument with cake is payout issues and charging for checks. I might sound cheap but I don't want to pay even a small fee for a check withdrawl. I guess everyone has different experiences.

And like everyone else said FTP is at least consistent and takes 2-3 days to respond each time @_@

i've never had a problem with ftp support, usually full responses within 24 hours, plus the rakeback is good

their software is whatever for me, multi tabling support is really weak imo, rest is fine
