I was supposed to have a 1k transfer with the user "scansion" on these forums. Earlier in this thread he had a successful transfer with someone for 10k, and demanded that me, not being a well respected poster in this forum, send first. I obliged and i shipped 200 and then he shipped 200 to me. Well after that went through i decided it would be ok to send the other 800 to him, he sent the 200 fast and seemed to be legit.

However, unfortunately my campus internet IMMEDIATELY went out during this transfer, resulting in me sending him 800 and immediately logging off. I logged onto 2p2 on my phone and sent him a message to ask if it has gone through, he has not responded.

So, im a low stakes grinder and im out 800$ unless he takes care of this soon... and with this being a substantial part of my roll im really disappointed in the way this went. Hopefully he sends me the remaining 800 today but im really upset by this.

he seems legit - i wouldnt be too upset. you'll get your money as soon as he realises what's happening, i'm fairly certain. he's def not trying to steal your 800.

Ok Talked to some people and apparently i overreacted.

I have a flight to San Jose in a couple hours and i have to had out, probably wont be back for 24 hours. If everything is taken care of when i get back ill delete the posts and everything should be straight.

WCG, I apologize for the delay, I have sent the 800. As you signed out right after telling me it was sent, I got a little sidetracked, didn't even check my Stars account for the transfer as I was able to get someone else I knew well to do a 1k with me. (I play higher stakes but needed just a thousand or two)

Again, sorry for worrying you but obviously I had no intent to steal your 800 or any of that nonsense.

To anyone else, WCG is certainly an honest and upstanding member of 2+2, as well as quite the character based on our fairly comical conversation on AIM. Hopefully he does not have to have the burden of sending first again as I'm sure this was a stressful experience for him, I remember being in these same kinds of situations.
