For anyone who is still experiencing issues with the client we now have a new build. If you uninstall the client and reinstall by downloading from the website PartyPoker.com, the issues should be resolved.

Not being able to register for the 25k gladiator freeroll sucks!

I won 25$ but would much rather have played the freeroll to have a chance to win a lot more.
IMO, one who have qualified should stay qualified and get the 25$ too.

PartyPoker overestimated the number of lowest volume players who would qualify AND play in the freerolls. The $10K Gladiator Freeroll for those who played as little as 50 PartyPoints had 1,188 players, so the EV was more than $8. The $15K Gladiator Freeroll for those who played as little as 100 PartyPoints had 1,045 players, so the EV was more than $14.

The new $25K Gladiator Freeroll for those who played as little as 150 PartyPoints only had 884 players, so the EV was more than $28! This is higher than five of the cash prize categories, e.g., somebody who earned at least 300 PartyPoints only got $15 cash. The final table in this freeroll all got at least $275, with the lucky winner getting $5,875.

While I like the Gladiator and Cash Machine much more than the promotions that are more like a rake race like the WPT VIP Race or the VIP Hockey Event, an improvement for the next Gladiator would be to open up the freeroll to every participant. For example, have one big $50K freeroll for anybody that played at least 10 points for 5 days; those who played more will get cash plus the freeroll. This is the way it's done in the Leaderboard and WPT VIP Race promotions.

i did this after the party started lagging horribly a few hours into my sessions, it has not stopped, is this a problem on my end?

hand histories will not save to my computer, ive looked everywhere they are not saving, why is this?

have you checked your settings from software:

preferences - general - general options - hand histories?

yes, it was set to yes as default, but is hasnt created a folder with my screenname like it should,

try setting it to "no" then maybe open a table, close it and close the whole software.

open the software again and set the hand history setting to yes again

I just reinstalled the software and I had the "hide currency tool tip" checked but it wasnt working so I unchecked it and opened a table, closed it and restarted the whole software and checked the setting again and it started working

can't guarantee anything but worth a try

i installed partypoker to C:\program files rather than the default C:\programs, could this be the problem?

the hand histories should appear in C:\program files\partyGaming\partypoker\handhistory\

disable UAC or run party as an administrator. if you dont know what I'm talking about, use google

I believe it's a clear case of an unfair advantage - especially in SNGs.
Basicly, every coinflip for the stack (ICM aside) means -$6 for me and +$1 for him (for $109+).

I've just started playing HU, so I don't know how this is handled on other sites, but if I've been playing someone at a table for an hour straight and take a four-minute bathroom break, I shouldn't be booted from the table.

Here's the issue I've been seeing for quite a while:
Right-click-Join waitlist often doesn't put me on a waitlist so I have to select that table again and repeat.

There is an issue with speed tables where it posts your blind when you are not in the big blind position, posts it out of turn... I've mentioned this many times before, and i know you asked for hand histories party rep, but i never can grab them when i'm playing a bunch of tables and they are hard to find later because they are usually small pots and hard to filter in HEM when there is a million of small pots after a long session

How often is the CGC promotion page updated? I've finished playing a 400+ hands session 2 hours ago but I still see only 52 hands showing

I think I'm gonna have to change a site I play at if Party doesn't fix the shortstack problem.

not sure if i'll miss you but party is changing the min buy-in for the standard tables this month

imo it's not perfect solution as the buy-in for the short tables is too high since they want to cater to ratholers so i'll be leaving too if the change doesn't work

Maybe they have some special agreements with certain big enough affiliates applying pressure who are also providing swarms of shortstackers along with normal new players that the rules won't be changed too drastically.. who knows. At least if I was an affiliate producing revenue worth of millions and also actively promoting shortstacking as a strategy for my players in hopes they won't bust too fast and will develop into break even multitablers I would do my best to the keep the situation unchanged and the cash machine running.

But, good to see that Party is at least going to the right direction. If there really is so high demand for playing 20bb game as to not being able to get rid of it completely, then maybe ultimately the goal should be 20bb cap tables and 40-100bb normal tables or so. On the other hand, if enough fish will choose the short tables, maybe playing a short stack every once in a while will become more accepted among the regs as the playing field is now more level in those special tables and the strategy is more or less expected there.

The Cash Game Championship promotion is ridiculous. Party can't even calculate profits correctly. FAIL.

They even block the board while playing, and while 12-tabling has caused me to timeout twice.

GIVE US THE OPTION TO TURN OFF THESE ANNOUNCEMENTS. I am already registered for these promotions.

I'm sure they will add that like they added the ability to disable tis yellow popups about uninteresting tournaments which **** up your betpot so you have to close PartyPoker COMPLETELY to fix it...
