The HU table system is one thing Party does better than other sites (besides the being kicked off the table for taking a quick toilet break)

Could you explain why you think it's better compared to say FT?

lol wtf i have a table open but can't open the lobby, it just won't appear. gg

it does to some degree but it also promotes douchebag regulars into hit and running, grimming, table blocking, etc.. personally i don't feel like it brings anything good to the games because bumhunting will happen regardless. and it does, look at the lobby at any time.

my point originally was that only 3 tables of 10/20 not only severely limits action but also makes it impossible to play when for example there's a guy who plays 25/50 holding all 3 of them and you have no interest in playing him. for someone like myself who just started to play the limit, it's not too attractive so i'd rather just play on other sites.

Since the latest update my Filters aren't saved anymore. I use the default ones + "Seats" but I always have to re-add it after closing the Software.

The only way I've managed to get the lobby back (without having to close the client) is to click the "show desktop" button twice to minimize and un-minimize everything.

I've had this problem for at least half a year. Contacted support about it numerous times, no progress...

I don't get it. How does this prevent bumhunting or force action? Right now there are 155 active HUNL100 tables. 6 tables have 2/2 players and there are 2 empty tables. Around 10-12 regs are sitting waiting for action on up to 18 tables each.

Think he just means if they refuse to play someone they lose their table. They cant just sit out forever like on other sites.

But they can just move to one of the empty tables, right?

Yes, but there was a time where they limited the amount of open tables, even at 100 and 200 NL. Guess they don't do that anymore which is meh

what is going on with the player and tables numbers?

usually there are around 4-5k tables and 10k players at this time but now the software is claiming 40k players?

Bugs/features that annoy me while multitabling cash games on party:

1. tiling tables

When ever after opening the software you click the tile button the first time it will tile 4 tables on my left screen and the rest on my right screen. On 2nd click it will tile all the tables on the screen they are currently on. Why can't the software just tile the tables on the screens they are on on the first click?

2. Posting blinds out of position on speed tables

I haven't found a pattern yet but sometimes the speed tables ask if I want to post and sometimes it just posts without asking when I am utg-co. When you first join the table it will ask every time BUT even if you sit down, click sit out and sit right back in without any new hands being played you will post blinds out of position. When taking a break and coming back the software asks sometimes but i dont know a pattern yet.

3. Atleast when playing with the min size of the tables if you accidentally click the maximize button on one table the fonts get screwed on other tables.

4. If you are trying to move/resize a table but accidentally just click on the edge of the table the party software will uncheck "Show window content while dragging" option which makes it so that you don't see what is going on on a table if you move one and atleast for me I have to always go find this option again and check it

In windows seven you can find the setting from right click my computer - properties (or System in control panel) - performance information and tools - adjust visual effects - visual effects. Someone please tell me how it is possible to program your software so horribly that doing something like this changes your Windows settings?

5. Why do we need to log-in again to our accounts after playing a session to see promos/account details etc on the software?

my client is saying almost 50k with almost 6k tables!

for the first point, most people who are playing over 4 tables and on 2 monitors will want the tables spread over both screens, I think the fact that it even has a second click option is good.

Could PartyPoker please look into the issues with shortstackers and ratholers in the PLO games? The problem is ever growing and cant be good for the games.

Not to mention the fact that ratholing seems quite unethical to me

Solutions that could be implemented and that I hope Party will consider:

- Introduce tables with a minimum buyin of 35bb which you have in NLHE

- Introduce deep tables with a buyin range of say 100bb-200bb

- Make it harder to rathole a): First of all increase the time period in which you have to return to the table with at least the amount you left with. I think its 30 minutes now, why not make that 2 hours or more?

- Make it harder to rathole b): Prohibit a player from sitting down at any table at the same stakes. E.g: If a player leaves a 1/2 table with $100, prohibit him from sitting at any other 1/2 table with any less than that.

yes i understand that. if they fixed the button people who want to spread the tables around would have an easier life because right now lets say you play 12 tables and want to play 6 on each monitor. you open 12 tables and spread them around and click tile the software will tile 4 tables on the left monitor and 8 on the right one.

then after you spread the tables around again it will tile 6 to both (assuming you had 6 on both screen before clicking)

i wasnt talking anything about people not wanting to play on 2 screens. i was talking about party creating yet another button a while back that doesnt do what it is suppose to do

1. We are currently investigating the issue of being unable to rebuy if you win on the last hand before the rebuy period.
3. Can you please check your preferences > general options. Do you have 'keep lobby in front when tables are opened' selected?
4. We have thus far been unable to reproduce not being able to rebuy at the beginning of a rebuy tournament but we continue to investigate.
1. We are working on a solution for making pros more visible on the site.
3/4. Chat is currently only available to players active in the game to protect them from external influences. This is something we can review for the future if the majority of players would like it and I welcome opinions from other players.
6. It is a player's prerogative to muck their hand and we respect that by not publishing it in the hand replayer where it can be viewed prior to the end of the tournament. Changing the replayer to start from the final hand is a good idea and we will look at this.
7. Can you specify which messages you are still receiving when you have 'dealer silent with chat'. Is it just the rebuy messages?
8. We will look at adding an auto add on button.
9. You can request emailed hand history summaries in preferences > general > hand histories

1.The tiling feature is set to optimise the screen space available. If you wish all tables to tile on your primary monitor, you can select the option to use primary monitor only from preferences > multi-tabling > general options > multi-monitor support.
2.Blinds posting out of position on Speed tables is currently being investigated.
3/4. These are not so much bugs but mis-clicks which are activating other features.
5. If you are accessing your account from the client whilst logged in there should be no need to login again.
If you click a link which takes you to your PartyAccount through the website you are effectively leaving the client and will need to log in again.

@ oink Due to the volume of players on NL Holdem we are able to offer a greater choice of games than we currently can on other games.

5. Yes I am trying to access my account through the software. it works for a while at the beginning after logging in but after my session (which is usually around 2 hours) it just produces the log-in screen

ok can you send me the details (times, dates what you are trying to access and how) the next time the instance occurs?

Hi,
Everytime I start PP it downloads and updates the software.
I have tried to uninstall and reainstall several times with no change.

When finally in the lobby I set the lobbyfilters to show seats and gametype but they keep going back to default all the time. Randomly it seems (after opening a table or after changing to other stakes or other page inside lobby)

I use MacBook Pro with Bootcamp and Windows 7 Home Premium
