Hi,

A few days ago I requested a withdrawal of 12200 USD at party poker. I received two emails; One confirming my withdrawal request of 12200 USD, and one approving my withdrawal request of 12200 USD. Now for some reason they have transfered AUD to my USD skrill account. I first of all never requested this. But seccondly it is not being noticed in any of the emails regarding my withdrawal. They took a nice 800 USD fee for this!

To make it even more absurd. When contacting the live chat support. They admitted that I in fact did request a withdrawal in USD. And they were trying to figure out why it has been processed in AUD. But they crawl back from this statement without any sensible statement. Right before abruptly closing the chat!

I hope this forum can be of support. Maybe higher tier party poker managers will read this? Also does anyone know where I can go if party poker won't take responsibility? I plan to fight this until I have my money. If only to get justice. I will post both emails plus the live chat below.

I think what happened is you cashed out in Australian Dollars. But i've requested a withdrawal in USD. I have an email confirming this. Skrill took almost 700 USD fee from this!

my withdrawal request clearly states 10000 USD and 2200 USD. Also. Skrill doesn't even offer Australian dollar accounts. So it should be one big mistake on your side.

I will look into this

I have before came across a similar issue and the issue was the e-wallet - Skrill in this case - auto sets by country to the preferred currency - therefore if Skrill was set in AUD you will receive payment in AUD and get the exchange rate
The only way around this is to set your e-wallet in a preferred currency

Have you checked your Skrill account? The default currency will be AUD if you reside in Australia

This may not be the issue however worth noting!

As I said - I will raise with the relevant team and feedback once I have a response

It might be because of this. On the upper side of the screen it states clear Amount(USD) but on the lower side it is auto set to AUD. Happened many times i almost forgot to change the AUD to USD and would have been in OP position.

Party rep please ask them to change the auto currency preset to USD or to make it more clear somehow for people cashing out.

I 100% think it`s party`s fault because the withdrawal screen is too confusing.

You're probably right. I've just cashed out the 800 USD and there were indeed 2 boxes where you had to select USD. maybe because of my resolution the second one was super tiny.

Let's hope they will fix it and nobody will have to go through this again.

I did ask the team to email as I was out for the afternoon

I have raised it with managment and steps wil be taking to ensure this is resolved in full for all

The issue is indeed the default drop down menu missed my some and results in AUD being highlighted as the withdrawal currency for the e-wallet
Agreed its not an ideal player experience and we should have it resolved in full within the next few weeks - we will try fix our end and also enter a convo with the 3rd party e-wallet to highlight the issue
