Thanks for the heads up DS, deff sounds like a potential/serial scammer imo.. Have had plenty of people like this pm me in the past and have reported every single one of them. I'm sure one of the mods will look into this.

I'm not sure why you're freaking out. You asked for a branch deposit to BoA instead of an online transfer, which I declined, and then I asked if you would consider sending first, and you acted like I asked something egregious. I understand that I'm new and that the newer member usually sends first. To my knowledge I haven't done anything wrong.

I've also made a few trades with ClemsonFTW and depechebkn, always sending first, and I've never done anything wrong. Don't make accusations because we got into an argument, please.

I see him neither freaking out nor making accusations. I think it's better for people to post their concerns than remain silent, but I'm glad that you've come to tell your side of the story.

I did not catch his BCP as we did not go this far in conversation.

I am not saying Metanoia is a scammer, I am saying they are very high risk and I RECOMMEND doing your research on this user.

Clearing this up - I have been away for a while and could have been more clear on my decision to ban aturningit.

I hesitated to post info gleaned from doing IP checks as learning mod practices may enable potential scammers.

However this case seems to need clarification.

That was clearly a mistake - apparently his PC was logged in and he didn't realize it was with the wrong account.

Post 2 (August 2 - 2 minutes after Post 1 and posted from the same location as Post 1)

The timing of those 2 posts helps to show the connection between these 2 accounts because the next day:

Post 4 (August 3 - 4 minutes after Post 3 was made and from the same location as Post 3)

We can speculate on the reasons for this apparent deception - a self-trade or an in-house trade is usually made for the purpose of increasing credibility.

The bottom line for me meant that in the interests of protecting other 2+2 traders I felt that the aturningit and 2fly4thewhiteguy accounts were both undesirable and banable.

It seems like aturningit was about to trick another 2+2er to send him funds first.

As a heavy volume trader in the past, I recommend NEW traders to deal with reputable traders only and make sure they can provide links to RECENT transactions to reduce the chance of being scammed.

Pretty shocked though tbh.. Always gave aturningit the benefit of the doubt but, after reading RW's post I deff agree with the decision to ban him. Ty RW, great job

+1 from me to RW for the work - always appreciated. I dealt with this individual dozens of times, always sending first. Hadn't for a while, but let it serve as a warning to new and longer-termed traders. Be very cautious and vigilant.

Anyone know if google wallet is reversible? Or is it just like PayPal?

I have been using google wallet for a long time and there is no possible way for the funds to be reversed unless the person that you send to return them.
I have accidently sent funds to the wrong person and contacted support by phone to try and get it reversed and they told me that the only way for me to get funds back from sending is if the person i sent them to return them.

Just so there is no misunderstanding - your question is worded as if you think Paypal is not reversible when, in fact, it most definitely is.

Hello, I am a little concerned about a "trade" that I made yesterday. I sent a PM to depechbnkn as I have done many times in the past. I asked him if I could get $500 on ACR (MemphisMaven) for $500 cash into his WF account. He agreed and said just deposit into WF.

I always deposit first, and I've never had a problem with him in the past. At 9:28 AM on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 I physically deposited $500 cash into his WF bank account. I have the receipt for this transaction, and will post a screenshot if necessary. As of right now, he has not logged on to 2+2 since and I still do not have the $500 in my ACR account.

I realize things come up, family emergencies, internet outages, personal issues. I am willing to give Dan the benefit of the doubt here, as I know he has a good reputation on this forum. Having said that, the lack of communication has me very concerned.

If Dan, or someone who knows Dan personally could let me know what is going on, I would greatly appreciate it. If it was truly an emergency and he transfers the funds into my ACR account, than I wouldn't have a problem with Mike Haven or another mod deleting this post. Thank you for reading this.
