I'm looking for a way to send money (via some type of card) to someone and add money to it with one of my credit cards. What are my options? I would ideally like for the other person to be able cash out at an ATM, but this is not necessary. Amazon isn't great because you have to buy crap on their site. What are my (most cost-effective) options?

(feel free to PM me if you think that is more appropriate)

Despite warnings against low traffic and mediocre software, I really want to take advantage of Minted's $1 rake promotion and 40% rakeback.

I am willing to do a 1:1 swap with no vig expected if you can meet the following requirements:

-Extremely flawless track record ITT with many recent trades
-Will be online around 1-3 AM EST (very early Thursday morning) because it's when I get off of work. I can check my email and 2+2 at work all this evening but cannot log into any poker clients
-Willing to take the gift cards, I would prefer to transfer this method that way I can start playing tonight and not have to wait for tomorrow

If you meet all the above criteria, I will be happy to ship first. I have a couple thousand dollars of transfers ITT but it was a while back before BF.

Thanks...if I don't return your PM right away it's because I'm at work
If you really want to deal with this guy, he might just waste your time like he did to me: this was his PM to me after I was looking for someone to trade with in chicagoland...

I live near Ogden and naper blvd.

I've played on Merge before using sportsbook.com

I am a little cautious though please understand, because usually people desperate to transfer funds ASAP is a little red flag. Can we meet up at like a mcdonalds or library or somewhere with internet so i can watch you log into your account? I just wanna make sure you havent made a recent CC or received a recent P2P transfer from the past few days, as these methods can sometimes be reversed.

I am not accusing you of anything, I'm just trying to be careful. I do have couple thousand dollars in trades in this thread too BTW for what it's worth

After I told him I'd meet him in a bank or the a public place with wifi he then changed his entire reasoning to now looking for another site after I specifically listed LOCK poker money in the first place. He might change his reasoning/mind with you too so beware.

No, no paypal for any gambling transaction, it's against their terms and conditions and can be reveresed easily by scammers.

Rules regarding trading are found in this post: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...25&postcount=1

As stated, PayPal is a big no. As you can easily reverse the transaction.

If you want to trade, your best bets are:GDMP(GreenDotMoneyPak), WU(WesternUnion) MG(MoneyGram) Ecocard, and Bank transfer.

Hope that helped.

Getting into an argument or debate in this thread is bad. It looks bad...for everyone involved. But I am compelled to defend myself against this guy. I am also very angry that I even need to, but this guy (puffpuff Join Date: Sep 2011 Posts: 17) decided to post a “warning” about how I might “waste your time” within this thread.

Let me give the full details of our conversation and the real story:
His original ad: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...stcount=106756
So I replied with this PM (copied and pasted totally unedited):
Quote:
I'm looking to add funds on a poker site....wasn't necessarily trying to add money to lock poker but I'll consider it. Let me do some research into the site's traffic first...I've played on Merge before - I think it's very OK.

I live in Naperville BTW. There's a First American Bank branch right down the street about 1/2 mile from me.
After a few more PMs in which he is trying very hard to sell me to sign up for Lock Poker and use him as an affiliate, I tell him I’ll consider it. Never ever commit to trading at any time. We leave it at that.

The next night he messages me:

Quote:
Hey can you let me know either way yes or no if you would like to do a deal or not? I preferably want to use you as you live in the area and you also have a first american bank close by.....havent gotten too many other PMs....again my phone is XXX XXX XXXX or PM on here.. my name is Todd. Thanks man.
Upon further discussion, this guy brags about how he is friends with all these high stakes players, but he lost his rent money playing drunk and needs to transfer funds out of Lock fast so he can pay his rent. Upon even further discussion, he acknowledges that he has no funds in his Lock account. He claims he will get the funds transferred into his account later the next day from his affiliate program. Apparently that night he got drunk and played and lost his rent money he totally busto his account. I ask him, why are you bugging me about doing this trade if you don’t even currently have the funds in your account to swap? Yadda yadda yadda…..

So cliffs notes:
Puffpuff posts an ad to sell lock funds. I respond that I might be interested. He hard sells me and pressures me yet doesn’t even have the funds currently in the account yet, because he is waiting for a transfer from his affiliate program. He messages me 3 days in a row bugging me, and then gets upset when I don’t commit to buying the funds from him, even though when he kept messaging me he still didn’t have any funds in the account. He gets frustrated and posts in this thread a “warning” how I will “waste your time”

Once again 2+2ers, sorry to put all this out there, but I feel I have a right to defend myself against this crazy degen. Mods, if you want to delete this post, feel free but please also delete his “warning post” against me, it is basically libel – I have done absolutely nothing wrong here.

(also edit: his "warning message" contains cut and paste PM of mine that are out of context and out of order. He used them to try to make me look like I was arranging a deal with him. The full context of the unedited PM discussion was me saying IF I was going to meet him in Chicago like he proposed to me, then we should do it in public. This guy is a total d-bag, very shady, very unprofessional, very hostile all for no reason. I guess if I donked my rent money away too I would be stressed too maybe....

I just bought some Minted Poker funds from a 2+2 member in the official transfer thread. I won't say his name because as of right now, he hasn't done anything wrong and I have no reason to believe that he is purposefully attempting to scam, but I think this is something that people need to be aware of when trading Minted Poker funds.

Minted Poker requires you do play through and earn a certain number of points before you can transfer funds. Also to cash out I believe. I am trying to get the exact details in the official Minted Poker support thread, but basically I paid this other guy, and he was about to send me Minted funds when he realized it won't let him until he earns enough points to be able to. Other sites require a similar thing but I think they are less strict than Minted is being.

For example, on Pokerstars if you made a deposit with e-check, we'll say $100 for example, PS would let you transfer any amount over $100 even while that $100 was being processed.

On Minted, let's say someone transfers you $100. A few weeks go by and you don't play with those funds. Now let's say you want to transfer that $100 to someone else. It won't let you. Correct me if I'm wrong, but many other sites aren't the same in regards to their P2P transfer policy.

Ultimately it is the responsibility of the person selling funds to make sure they are available to transfer before posting an ad attempting to sell/trade them. In the situation with this guy I traded with, I believe it was an honest oversight that he did no realize he could not transfer those funds until it was too late, that is why I'm not publishing his name.

But to everyone out there, please make sure funds you are trying to sell/trade, are not only in your account safe and secure, but are allowed to be transferred to someone without play-through points restrictions to clear first.

LOL, awesome.

They now flaunt both Mike and the poker sites by showing off by presenting how easy it is to create multiple accounts faster than they can be banned. However, it also tells me they are frustrated with guys like MH

EDIT: Mike, did you just delete that! LOL, don't, it was funny, plus you had a fan and that's cute

Edit to add: Ah, just noticed that someone (Mike?) moved it here, so maybe I nuked him before Mike got to have some fun with him.

Ah, now you've opened yourself up to the guy making the name bobofettufag

Yea, it probably was just a joke, MH is known the world over yo! Plus he gets so much flak from scammers that sites have built his name into their censor filters

BF, RW, what would you guys think about allowing higher volume traders to open their own threads in the MP? I guess im thinking more about the people that buy Merge money for bank xfers. The p2p thread is such a cluster**** and i think itd be a lot more efficient if these guys could have their own bumpable threads like guys have for GDMP and Amazon. Itd also be nice cause youd need to have MP approval to start one of those threads. Also, having all these traders' threads next to eachother with vig %s and complete trading history ITT would make it easy for the sellers.
