was considering starting to play at overbet (merge skin). they have a few online pros sponsored which makes me think its not another shady skin. cant say that for sure though just because of that.

what are their cashout times like? and what is their support like?

anybody had bad experiences with them? what happens if the skin goes down..is there any guarantee of getting money back from the network?

how long has this skin been around?

Never played there, OK reviews on it. US Friendly, Merge Network. Not sure if this helps, since your looking for personal experience on playing there but heres a review..

I am trying how to activate the time bank on Overbet poker site that's part of the Merge network. I saw a player do it during our hand and I timed out during that same hand when put to a big decision. Does anyone here know?

I find it pretty ridiculous that it's not more readily apparent. I also hope it's not some bull**** where only some skins have it but not others.

You need at least 2 seconds of timebank and you need to be facing a bet. When you start to time out, the timebank button shows up and you need to click it to turn it on.

Well, my personal experience is that if you have your license say you live at one address, and you move to a different address. Lets say that you move and only get the temporary license with no picture that states your new address. It doesn't matter how many bank statements, payroll, or bills that come to your new address. Your account will still be banned, I am currently on 4 days ban for sending in the verification form with my new address and they required a photo ID, and my license says my old address. Something has to be done here, I sent in all my required forms to show I live at a new address, and they just blow it off like its nothing

That's odd, i sent in my license with my original address, but just sent in a utility bill, and a signed document and they had no problem verifying my account, and took less then 24hrs.

AFAIK it shouldn't matter what skin your on when there doing verification? This was on lockpoker btw.

^its probably merge gaming who are having the difficulty. I had few probs verifying for other merge skin and it was all done through merge as a whole not the skin.

I havent opened account yet but a well known rb affiliate has a promo where if you deposit 25, you will be matched with 25 instantly and if you verify account and earn 750 points they will give you 100 more.

It is odd, I also signed up for that 125 extra bonus. Everything was ok, then they suspended it until I sent in other documents. I sent in paychecks, bank statements, and water and heat bill. I get an email back from management that states the following:

The email they have sent suggests to me you have two accounts thats why they have closed your account ?

I have documents stating that there are two people living in the house, (me and my sister) which both opened two different accounts. Two different ways of depositing, two different names, two different credit cards. That does not violate the terms of service

I don't think that could have been the case because the other person never deposited, she was going to with her credit card but then did not want to send pictures of her card to the site because she did not trust, therefore she did not deposit. I on the other hand deposited through western union, and had my bonus put into my account. I just had to earn 750VIP points. It was 2 days later that this had happened of suspending my account.

It may not matter that she did not deposit it could be the impending deposit they are worried about. Hypothetically you could have easily asked your sister to register, use her information and then you pay her in person. There are some shady people out there unfortunately.

My ex and I played on the same sites but we never had a problem...

Overbet has come under new management in the last few months and is poising itself to be one of the most popular skins on the merge network.

Cashout times presently are the same as the rest of the merge network unfortunately. All cashouts are processed by merge's payment processor. My understanding is that all funds from all skins on the merge network are segregated and therefore should be returned to players if a shut down did happen to take place. I however, have not been able to confirm this with merge with 100% certainty.

Overbet has been around since late 2010 but as of the end of 2011 has come under new management. This new management has extensive experience managing skins on 3 other networks.

I can confirm that the emails being received and pasted in this thread are not coming from Overbet directly but instead from the merge representatives that handle the majority of the emails that arrive in the support@overbet.com email inbox. It is also the merge security team (despite their email responses including Overbet in the signature).

Really unusual about the account suspension. It looks like this is something that came directly from merge security, however, if you would like to contact me via PM, perhaps I can direct you to someone that can help.

All in all I think Overbet is a fantastic skin with management in place to really make them the largest player on the merge network. The deposit bonus offer that many of you are referring to will likely not appear again (however the usual 100% up to $600 is still available). Unfortunately merge has become extremely aggressive towards affiliates in the past week, and has threatened skins with massive fines if they are caught offering players anything beyond the "Ace High VIP system" + "deposit bonus" or the VIP system that you see on Lock/Carbon + deposit bonus.

I doubt you will be seeing any more promotions like that from affiliates for any skin on the merge network anytime soon (and if you do, the skin that is hosting them is violating merge rules and subjecting themselves to a $25,000 fine for first offense).

FWIW, I'm not a shill for OB, they have however, earned my business. You should be seeing some excellent video content coming up on Overbet in the next 30-60 days as well. These videos will be exclusive to Overbet.com and will vary from MTT strategy, 6-max Super Turbo strategy (from myself and one of the high stakes crushers), as well as some HU super turbo strat. It's also expected that URnotindanger will be releasing some cash game strategy videos for our VIP players as well at some point.
