LOL, I don't think he's really picking nits - this might work for a limited audience, but isn't going to be for most 2+2ers. As for what this has to do with the PPA, you've really lost me there. You'd be happier with them if they were trying to get bar owners to start a poker network?
so basically regs on 2+2 are antisocial? you prefer playing in your bedroom or whatever to playing with real people?

limited being the millions of casual poker players and non 2+2 members. i guess this is the wrong forum for progressive thinking. people here still play on ftp and stars while others sit waiting to be paid. my last post about this.

Dude, you posted this in the internet poker forum. Perhaps it shouldn't be shocking that people in this forum prefer to play poker over the internet.

There are also a ton of logistical things you haven't worked out yet after/before a bar is able to obtain a gaming license.

24KJ - Okay...yes, I suppose if there were millions and millions of people flocking to a zillion card-rooms all over the country to play in pretty much every town and they were as a common as fast-food restaurants I might end up swinging by there occasionally too. I have no idea how you plan on generating the traffic to support such rooms and make this work. Have you never been to Vegas? There are only a handful of rooms in THAT city that work okay and are half-decent.

But you seem to believe that live poker doesn't flourish more simply because parts of the population are not very close to a room. This is simply incorrect and it's kind of a laughable thing to say.

WTF? Your thinking isn't progressive. It's just dumb.

Not wanting to play poker live has nothing to do with being antisocial. I would argue that my distaste for playing live has more to do with wanting to do something MORE social than sitting around with smelly and unshowered WPT wannabe's trying to get into some lame stare-down with me. It's simply not that enjoyable. It's slow and boring. When I want to be social with people I prefer to not be as slow and boring as live poker.

But he's progressively misguided.
