2000 pts in Rush is $60 at FR, $90 at 6Max. You must have had like 4500 pts at 6-max to get $200 in rakeback.

Just like what happend on stars, where there are now more double or nothing sit and go's than regular s&G's of the same levels.

Personally, I think rush is actually TOO SLOW. That 1-2 second or so pause after a hand while it switches tables drives me nuts...
Ya I thought fromt he very begining this was a horrible idea. Great way to kill the cash games and get the few remaining fish out. Glad i hadn't moved to ftp yet.

The problem is the advanatge you have is lost. Not just huds, No game dynamics, fewer reads, fish are playing fewer hands etc. It's a perfect game for buying in short and very robotic in nature.

how do you know they are playing fewer hands?
and no, not robotic. you hudbot.
you have to really think people's range and do alot of math on wider range and probilitys.

Eh, you might be right about just grinding a 35BB stack and ratholing, since they've made that so easy (apparently you just quit and then sign right back up), and then you aren't sitting there wondering what to do with TPTK all the time, or how to maximize with a set, etc etc.

But it won't be the one-page SSS approach that 20BB shortstacking was.

Officially on Hour 53. And... hold on a sec. Yep, still addicted. Naturally FTP waits till i go practice 4 tables at 10nl to turn on godmode. Im seriously tempted to play through tonight and keep it going strong so that im on top of my game when its fishy mating season tmrw night.

Ya this is 100% what I am talking about. With regs and shorstackers you have game reads. Won't have that here which will significantly impact your ability to exploit edges.

You can argue that the number of extra hands you see per hour will compensate for this but I'm not completely sold on that theory yet.

Its common sense... Anyone shoudl be able to see why fewer handa are being played.

lol calculating someone's range without reads is robotic. You realize math/calculating and robotic are synonymous right?

Hey can someone answer a question for me. I went on Full Tilt to try to play the Rush game and it won't allow me to swich the lobby from Classic View to Standard View.

For some reason it has Classic View locked in and whited out and won't allow me to change it so I can view the Rush tables.

Thanks

Fish are still playing as lose as ever which is amazing since they can fold their thrash and insta move on to the next hand, not complaining of course though.

Played about 4k hands and the amount of times I'm getting 3bet when I open the CO or BTN is astonishing,

^^ Seems to be a screen resolution issue from what others have said. Bump up the resolution if you can, or else you are stuck.

Rush poker does strange things...

Last week I needed to play as unexploitable as possible or shark would pick up on it...

This week I need to play as exploitable as possible as sharks can't pick up on it any more...

Last week ABC poker was a sure thing to be picked apart like the fish I am...

This week ABC poker is a sure thing to pick apart vilains like the fish they are...

Last week I wanted to go to the bathroom, but couldn't...

This week I can go to the bathrom, but don't want to...

Loving rush!

Re short buying, apparently it's 40BB on the rush tables, not 35BB.

Go figure.

I don't suppose you can be bothered to go and actually try it or anything.

Anyhow, I played 40BB and ratholing for a while, and it's pretty much mindless and easy (if you know how to play with that stack size).

I know, "die ratholer die".

40BB is a decent minimum, I don't mind it too much if people 'shortstack' with 40 blinds

I also may have found some weird bug where you can keep somebody on your table in the same seat if you open the notes file on that person just before the table breaks.

It happened the first two times I tried to take notes on somebody -- Villain ended up on the same table, in exactly the same seat relative to me.

Then of course I couldn't replicate it when I tried a couple more times. But that would be one hell of a coincidence if it wasn't a bug.
