sigh..

where would a larger player pool come from, since we are playing with the same players now that we will be next year?

they have said many many many many many many times they want to make the game more recreational, with making tables unviewable when full and no waiting lists, do u really think they would let you search for donks so u can bum hunt them?

I play a few hours a day and I haven't experienced this problem. I have had maybe 3 or 4 crashes in all that time. There are bugs and issues I wish would be addressed but crashing isn't one for me thankfully.

You can call fedex and confirm it with them on the phone. It's definitely in their policy to allow for this. Liability is on you if you leave a note for them to put it under the doormat and someone takes it. They got the signature so they're off the hook.

As a side note, I don't live in the ghetto, and am never concerned of anyone taking the package.

Q: Is there a client available for mac's?
A: There is no in browser or downloadable version for Mac, you could use Parallels or another Windows Emulator to play on Macs but it will not be supported by Bodog.
Do you know if the new software will support Mac users, or if this is something that will ever be available?

If not, is there a thread around here I can be directed to that discusses Mac users' experiences with a Windows Emulator playing on Bodog?

Thanks in advance for any help.

seeing as how they can barely maintain code for their windows client... I would put money on the answer to your question being no mac support with new software but you can always remain hopeful.

I'm not sure what that dude means by Parallels not being supported by Bodog but any time I have ever used it, it works with anything I have run on it. should be like 100% compatible with any windows based program.

best advice though: buy a windows PC.

Second best advice: use Parallels it should definitely work

Same player pool as now, its going to be the same room, just rebranded. They are expanding into other territories though and hopefully these moves help increase the player base as a whole, no increases directly from the rebrand though.

As for player search, there will not be one.

It won't right away, it will pave the way ultimately for a native mac client though. No timetable on that though.

So you work for Fed EX? If not please don't represent your opinion as fact.

Its happening last I heard, but not till 2012. With all the changes I know they wanted to push it back a bit.

any plans to fix the heads up cash games in the new client? The whole thing is broken.

I just had to re-install the software and now the problem seems to have gone away, I guess it didn't update god knows. All of a sudden it wasn't connecting with the server correctly, all of my tables started timing out I lost money and a few big blinds. I've been diagnosing my problem last night and a lot today. All in all i re-installed the software and the problem is fixed, no more lag (for now) and also no timeout (for now) I recieved the message a few weeks ago regaurding my demand for rake-back

"Thank you for contacting Bodog Poker Customer Service.
We are more than glad to assist you with this matter. We understand that some Poker Rooms and third party companies offer rakeback programs; however, Bodog does not offer rakeback as we have chosen to reinvest our Poker revenue in the form of competitive bonuses, promotions, and customer service. This allows us to ensure all players in our Poker room are provided the game choice, support, and value that will make their experience at Bodog fun, safe and enjoyable."

The bonus's last what a month? The free-rolls aren't that great 1-3rd only make money worth the hours of play. Why not put some real money into this software I don't get it. You guys are seeing more traffic and I know for sure the money is coming in. Everyone who grinds will pay over 10k in fees per year easy. I also don't know of a poker company who limits traffic to their tables. 4 table max? lol just a joke, thats like owning a car wash, letting 30 people wash for the day and telling everyone behind them to go home we dont need your business. Maybe your server is too small. Step it up.

Also not being able to see active tables makes no sense, if anyone wanted to spy on other players they could just open the table before someone else sat and watch the whole thing. Personally it scares me not seing how many tables are being occupied because I have no idea on how much traffic / action the site is having at that given time. I don't want to up and leave just yet, if these problems are addressed it would be a great site.

Possibly this is because there is focus on a lot of other things the casino offers, BJ, sports etc, besides just poker. Also why isnt there a player count on the left when we log in that shows traffic? eh just so many things this needs.

If you're only playing 1-4 tables with a 'bloodsucker', why does it matter if they are playing 12 more? It just means more tables going which means more tables for you to choose from.

I would rather play against a good reg who's 16-tabling than one who's restricted to 4, allowing him to focus more on the table @ hand.

Hi

I'm playing at bodog. If I'm using a date in the past for my computer the bodog software will not start. Unfortunately I have to use a date in 2009. The reasons I can not explain here, it would take too long.

So to start bodog, first I set the date to the current date, start bodog and final I set the date again to 2009.

Can I run into problem with bodog?

Um, your thread wasn't deleted, I merged it here, where it would be most likely to be seen by the rep and other players who might be able to help you.

Look about 5 posts up.

My quick summary of bodog is as follows.

Pros- able to play in the us, soft players, great fast payouts, quick response from customer service

Cons- 4 table max- I guess the server is too small, software time outs, have to reset constantly to see my total balance sometimes as well as being able to play more tables since it always thinks i already have 4 tables open, have to re-install every now and then, no rake back, no player traffic displayed, full tables arent visible, you cannot search players, bonus program is weak 1 month, the player point system is weak, easy 10k + spent just in fees per year per grinder, no time bank for cash ring but time bank for a free roll tourny go figure, no disconnect protection ( a minute would be nice and courteous ), replays are a disgrace to any poker player who wants to anylze- who the hell remembers a hand number #343254859754 for christ sake, should be able to replay in real time, not able to do player transfers. Possibly too much focus on the casino and sports betting.
