Madlion,
I do not have a Panda themed screen name on Bodog but I also love Pandas and bamboo !!! Any creature that tries to camouflage itself in black and white ( for hiding in an Oreo factory, could be!) while eating several times its body mass in food every day is OK in my book

I'm pretty sure both. It has an option for me to do a bankwire deposit for a bonus.
09-01-2010 , 02:21 AM

It just means first bankwire deposit, I think. Though it may just mean first bankwire deposit within the bonus period, not first ever bankwire.

I'd like to know this too. I think most banks charge a fee for outgoing wires, though it's only $10-15 afaik, probably $25 at most.

It just depends on your bank account type and bank. For my business account, wires are free.

I used to be a reg on bodog, but quit playing there because cashouts were taking too long.

bodog used to have the best 10nl games on the net, there was lots of traffic, and plenty of action. There was usually over a dozen tables of 10nl, with plenty of the tables being juicy enough for waitlists.

I was recently giving bodog another look and I was shocked to see they added .02/.05c tables and raised the rake! What a huge mistake, the 10nl tables are a ghost town now, and the 2 tables that have players now also have 8 person waitlists! Adding the nickel tables was a huge mistake and it killed 10nl.

10nl on bodog used to be a place where you could grind out a bankroll and then take shots at higher limits, but now with no players, huge waitlists, and higher rake that's impossible.

I think bodog should remove the 5nl tables and put the rake on the 10nl tables back to how it used to be, it doesn't have to be capped as low as it was, but it should still be low so players can grind up a roll.

p.s if people want to play 5$ let them buy into a 10nl table with 5 bucks instead.

my bankwire cost $30

Just saw this on PTR. It is the average rake paid by a player for every 100 hands they play. Bodog has the highest HU rake in the industry (except for french only pstars and for 5 and 10NL players). Pretty ridiculous imo.

im not sure if this has been mentioned b4 but

although clearly bodog has fixed most of hte bugs, the one bug that is left that bothers me is how if u bust out and u were gonna be in the blinds, it automtically sits you out even if u reload in time.

Justin-

can you put in a plug for sync breaks in event one and the main event? shouldn't be hard since those are fitting into the sunday slot.. and any $500 event MUST have sync breaks IMO.

Also would be good if contender main got em too.
and obv if the rest of teh BPO upper tier got syncs i think participation goes up

Players still having cards in front of them when they've folded is the worst for me and should be for everyone. It's a bad one.

Another minor but annoying one for me is if I have a table open and resized to the minimum and I'm on the waiting list, when a seat comes available the pop up box with the info covers the table and cant be moved so you can't see which seat is available. You have to take the seat to see if it's the one you want. lol - gonna get blasted for seat selecting by the high stakes jobs worths now!

My biggest problem is when the software disconnects then reconnects before it's my turn to act and there are NO BUTTONS. The timer just keeps counting down, then folds my hand.

Apologies if Justin already addressed your question in this thread, but I don't see it if he did, so here's a link to the response he kindly provided several weeks ago:

Ah, Bodog the worst software I've ever played on and some how their customer support is even worse. They wouldn't refund my $100 tourney after the software no longer allowed me to click any of the raise, fold and call buttons. Since then I've played 0 hands there. And about 6 million hands elsewhere. Put that in your pipe and smoke it Bodog.
