i bought gunnars 1 year ago, played 3 sessions with it and put it in the rubbish...

my 2 roomies back at that time who r massgrinding as well did exactly the same...

i were misclicking with much higher freq wearing those and was much more stressed compared to playing without a glass...

but for some people they seem to work even if i think 90% is placebo...

They definitely change the color scale, everything is a bit less bright and the colors merge together more than they do without wearing the glasses, but I think there's a good chance that placebo effect is responsible for decreased eye strain.

Does a LCD even emit much UV light? a timy amount if so I'd think. Prescription contacts or lenses will filter UV anyways.

A lot of people would def benefit from turning down (way down!) the brightness on their LCD panels tho. from the factory they're usually set to run at near max for demo purposes - a new monitor belting out 400 nits (lol) is gonna fatigue concentrating eyes pretty quick.

I wore gunnars for three sessions, getting a headache each time I tried playing with them. While they *might* be useful for reading black text on white backgrounds, the "science" behind them is a joke to anyone who took a physics class and 95%+ of the benefits people experience are placebo (exception being the slight magnification, which you can get for far cheaper).

I see some of u guys tried them for like 3 days and gave them up, I think this the wrong way to test them; I am going to (try) and wear them for 2 weeks and see how it goes

I've used gunnars all year and they seemed to do their job. Recently I ran out of contacts so I switched to glasses (w/o gunnars) for the last week or so and my eyes have been getting tired w/o gunnars at the end of my sessions. No real bad headaches though.

Got them about a month ago and think they definitely help my eyes. Worth at least a try if you spend any considerable amount of time in front of a computer every day.

I've got gunnars a couple of weeks ago. They seem to do the deal, although I'm no SNE and don't grind that much anyway.
I purchased them together with some other pokerplayers, because shipment costs are very high if you're European.
Anyone tested these btw?

I'm pretty upset about it, but from all this negative gunnar feedback, seems like my gunnar dreams have been stripped from me.

I suppose not getting them is the wisest choice since i don't remember really experiencing any "eye strain" anyway.

Poopy aims for the stars.....and falls short of even gunnars...
