b) 1/2 NL 6 max (approx amount of hands)

Basically the scenario would be needing to make 900,000 VPP's between April-December 31st.
a) 2.6 million
b) 2 million

Those are what they would be for me playing 19/16 and somewhat (but not very) aggressive postflop while 16 tabling all fast tables. If you will be playing tighter, then SFCell's estimates are more accurate for you.

As for being doable, if you can play 1550 hands an hour (which is what you will probably get playing 16 fast speed) then it would take a little over 6 hours a day at NL100 6-max. Only you know if you are capable of doing that.

Yeah, i really want to give myself a chance this year of hitting SNE but i'm unable to play a ton of hands for a few months due to personal reasons.

I think i'm going to focus on building my bankroll for the next few months, for when i'm able to get hands in and start my quest for SNE.

You'd be about 15,000 vpps ahead of pace, at 2750/day, about a week ahead of schedule.

If I need to earn 2750 per day and I earn only 2746 on one of my days then how far behind pace was I for that day? I can't figure it out. Can someone help me do these complex calculations? Thanks.

Finishing this essay is ****ing with my brain.
Yeah, that was rlly stupid/obvious of a distinction, oh well.

+1 on extra notice for dbl vpp week, lots of people can play double their normal hours getting 4x the vpp that week they usually would, if not more (possibly less then 4x on second thought with how nitty the games were last yr)

what mouse are you mass multi tablers using??? how long do they last? I've been going through mice every 5-7 weeks. Is that normal?

$2k is too much.. but I do think that it will be difficult for someone who made SNE primarily off of SNGs to make it again without playing any SNGs. Also, $500 (or much more probably) won't stop anyone from playing SNGs when they get tired of grinding whatever else they are playing in a few months.

is there any pattern in previous years for when the double VPP weeks take place?

lol this is so easy. 5 days in and I'm not even 5k behind pace yet.

I think you're actually ahead of pace, but I really don't know. It's kind of advanced math, doubt I could ever figure it out .

they last longer once you stop throwing them at the wall.

WTF? I just use a regular cheapo type mouse I buy from Walmart or Office Max. Some logitech deal that costs maybe $30 or $40 or something and takees a AA battery. Are you throwing mouses out when the battery dies or something?

I don't use the mouse that hard because I use an AHK for a keypad too so it's kind of a combo mouse and keypad thing for my playing. But even when I would 12-20 table just using the mouse I would say they typically would last me a year or two. I want to say this is my 3rd mouse or so in about 5 years and it's usually because the little USB thing breaks when I bumped it or something like that.

The bluetooth Intellimouse has lasted 3 years and no signs of wear

got about 13k VPPs from 1/2-1/4... just wanted to get a feel for what the pace was like, but this seems quite doable at my stakes/games...

6 tabled 15/30-50/100 LHE 6max and FR mixed, avg about 640 VPP/hr

also, +$12k, EZ game!

Losing players know they lose money, and knowing how much exactly they've lost will just make them more determined to "win it back".

It's quite possible for losing players to be unaware that there are losing players. Even losing players withdraw from time to time, especially losing players benefiting from a VIP program such as at Stars. Regular bonuses are typically going to result in a withdrawal being made.

Also, many losing players actually see a slight profit once their bonuses are taken into account.

In general unless a player, winning or otherwise, keeps detailed records of each session then they are fairly likely to have an inaccurate picture of how well they do. And people have a natural tendency to believe that they're doing better than they actually are.

Serisouly....

Inexplicable perhaps but players on the SNE quest see many of these every week, if not every day.
