I wonder what kind of fundamentalist half-wits are voting no on this.

And what's to stop people from making multiple accounts and voting this thing several times?

So? All it does is express my interest in this issue above the others. I have done nothing wrong. What you should be worried about is the guy talking about clearing his cookies so he can register and vote multiple times.

Not an American. Was about to vote though, but the word verification came "opium"... it kinda freaked me out.

We don't need to do this.... to get in the top ten you only need like 4000 points, this should have 4k points by noon if everyone on here votes. We can easily push this to the top the fair way.

Agreed. I think it'd be in everyone's best interest to not taint the results of this vote. It should be overwhelming without trying to rig the results. As a Canadian, I did not vote, but definitely have a stake in it's outcome and would like the results to be indisputable.

Its not important. If they do perform a cross check and figure out that marijuana crackheads and poker gamblers are playing unfair more often than greenies or antiglobalists, guess who its gonna hurt?

Uh, please explain how voting stuff down is "unfair", "tainting the results", or "rigging". I care more about this issue getting attention than any of the other ones...so I voted them down.

My concerns were more about people from other countries voting, and people voting multiple times. These definitely taint the results and are a form of rigging.

Voting the other issues down is also unfair to the people that those issues affect.

Non Americans should not vote imo in case it invalidates the poll.

Just coz you can vote wont mean they wont check the zips afterwards.

We can win this just on the yank vote imo.

I don't think voting for people from other countries is necessarily a bad thing. Its an issue of global significance, perhaps not as big as climate change or Iraq, but still matters for many. If they wanted, they could block IPs.

Also, just because someone is not an American citizen, does not mean he has not supported Obama in his campaign.

Unfortunate for them? Yeah. Unfair? No. They put the "vote down" button there so people would use it.

Its not about its global significance, its about winning this vote.

We dont want to give nay sayers outs, and that is what non Americans do by voting.

Given that the American vote can win this without our help non Americans voting is actually counter productive and is more likely to impede the outcomes we all want
