Would it not make by far more sense if you balance out the rake on the Euro and USD tables? I cannot imagine you make a lot as site out of 1$ max rake on the midstakes already ... . But well, that would require the network using common sense

Furo86,

I can only speak for RaiseandFold but we do show all USD and Euro tables that are available network wide.

Best Regards,

Wow, if I hear volume picks up, I will definitely be changing networks. The real game changer needs to be the software though.

I suggest keeping this thread bumped on a regular basis, that will keep the major networks on their toes, hopefully they will take notice and this could be implemented across the board because.................................

For me being paranoid about online poker ever since well.... forever - but even more recently - I have to mention a concern.

Full Tilt made all the late reg, rush poker, and all that to increase rake so that they could pay back all the money they spent.

Does Everleaf also need some money fast to gamble with and then they too get busted and can run with the money.

I don't quite believe it and will certainly be grinding these tables seemingly rake free but I always worry about getting my money back from the site. Not so much Everleaf's fault though and more the happenings of online poker as a whole.

So you personally are afraid of online poker and sites trying to run away with your money, yet you will indeed grind the tables? That is some f'd up logic ... . And the part above was not really more clever either.

Sometimes poker players and its community are really disappointing . I've tried bringing up the issue of there being $6 taken off the table in a live 4/8 limit game to the players who play it and they...just....don't....care. I had thought online players were different. With the concerns I see posted, it makes me wonder if anything will ever change. I'm suddenly not encouraged.

I see this as being huge. Unfortunately I don't think everyone is on the same page and it wont be. This is the only time this has ever happened in online poker's existence that I'm aware of, and I'm not sure we'll get another chance. I don't see that sense of urgency here unfortunately.

It is what it is and if people can't see that we are the traffic, or are so limited that they will not attack this issues because there's not 50 full ring games going and all they play is full ring, then we are doomed.

I don't think there's any legitimate argument to lowering the rake anymore if this doesn't succeed. Anyone who complains about it or posts about it again will suffer the fact that it's not a viable argument and has no substance. I'll be skipping those threads and will take my medicine because of the masses. However, I'll always seek to pay the least amount of rake for myself personally, it's just a shame that others will not have the same determination and I'll always be the minority. Tough to get things done as a minority as is, but fortunately it's not impossible.

As a downside, I imagine this will bring in a lot of regs. Let me know what times/limits you're playing so I know to avoid you guys.

Yeah but if we assume it brings a lot more regs permanently (big assumption I know) then Everleaf can grow and advertise more and hopefully, eventually the fish will come

If you want to pay more rake you can play on the euro tables with 6% rake and a 5 euro cap. That is about $6.50 That is even for HU. You see you have the best of both worlds on Everleaf! What will be he lowest rake of any site by far, except betraiser which had a peak count of 5 players in the last 24 hrs, and is not open to the US, and the highest rake of any US site.

Right now the US table rake is the standard of the industry, 5% and $3 cap ( hu is $1), and most players are at the euro tables.

Kinda this. I would think with the state of US OLP right now people would be jumping all over this. Combine 1$ rake with great support (speaking from my experience with Raise and Fold) and less than 24 hour cashouts I would think every US player on Merge would make the move. Maybe we need to be more proactive about posting this? I may troll all of old rake threads and bump it with a link to this thread.

Great promotion by Everleaf at least they have the balls to lower their bottom line now to look to the future.

Only way I think they will keep the low rake cap is if everyone here grinds there for 2 months and the get a big increase in players but its a long shot.

I am sorry for saying anything. I was half asleep when I wrote it. I will say that I have deposited a few hundred on Minted and cashed out $1,000 once before so I would like to say there's not much to worry about.

On top of that my cashout was received at my local supermarket in cash about 2 days from the request time.
