Borgata slow and laggy, pretty much unplayable right now. Seems like the software is freezing up my computer. Ran task manager and says it is using about 70% CPU. Not sure what gives.

I've been playing there for the last 40 minutes or so and has been working pretty well for me.

Before I solved my geolocation issues today I ordered a long range wifi adapter from Amazon which is supposed to be here tomorrow. I can test it out and let you know if it solves the problem I had earlier where my adapter couldn't pick up neighboring access points. If it works, I'll let you know the brand and the cost in case you want to pick one up.

there is money on the floor in wsop - also their 10K had over 50% overlay. 888's $35 1K will also have a large overlay. cannot login to party/borg. didnt find interesting mtt's on UP. it is wsop+888 for me tonight.

If it's any consolation, people on the Delaware sites are reporting the same issues. Geolocation is still in its infancy I guess.

I live in Edgewater, about five miles from the border, but real close to the water. I am so frustrated about these geolocation issues! I moved here last April and was so excited when I found out about online poker passing in NJ. I've literally been counting the days. And now the day has come and now gone because I can't play. Can't get any site to see that I actually live in New Jersey, even though all online geolocation websites I've been to have me there. I have a Jersey license, Jersey plates and the whole nine but still can't play! It's been a very disappointing week for me. What are the chances that this gets cleared up anytime soon??? Sorry for the rant but it really sucks.

Literally had a huge problem with geolocation on Ultimate Poker. I was playing in a tournament and all of a sudden my location was lost. I was told to install a program called loki and it helps to locate someone if they do not have two other 2 wifi devices within range to triangulate your location. I had to uninstall and reinstall loki. Too bad by the time I was doing all of this I got blinded out of the tournament.

Spoiler:
Brag: I cashed in the freeroll.

just received this email from Borgata...

"As per our withdraw procedure all withdraws must first be approved by our internal review team before they are processed. This is why the current status of your request reads "pending approval". Payments will be made as soon as reasonably possible (subject to up to three business days internal processing time), although there may be delays due to any Security Review. "

So looks like no same day cash outs but will wait on the "approval" and update when I receive it

Also your SSN,
print out of conformation e-mail
proof of age and address.

is needed at cash out but you can verbally say the last 4 digits at the counter and that will work. This was stated when I requested the cash out at the online cashier.

I may be 46 years old, but the 8 year old in me loves how you can throw eggs, tomatoes, snowballs etc.. at other players on 888.

Got better for me after I logged out and back in a few minutes later. However seems like anytime I go to the lobby and try to view tournaments in classic list view, it causes the lag and my CPU stats for the Borgata app go from 8-9% to 50%+. Must be something with the lobby. If you log in and play a cash game without using the lobby, seemed to work well.

The lobby on the Party software is beyond horrible. My suggestion is that once the forum for NJ.Party is open that everyone complain at least once a day about it so maybe they will get it to be usable while playing. It's becoming the #1 most complained about thing in the ROW Party thread, which is saying a lot considering there was a proposed boycott recently.

Playing on wsop.com today haven't gotten thrown off once. Big improvement over last few days. Hope it keeps working like this.

I am on a macbook running OSX v. 10.6.8 and 888 and WSOP would not even launch the installer after the download. I registered names on Party Poker and Bet Fair and have been unable to login with the correct password today at all. Then trying to reset them via email did nothing as well. I have been unable to reach any of the customer support for any of the sites. So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling all the software. Then on Bet Fair's website it's software for mac was now unavailable. So I have been able to use none of the up and "running" new poker clients. This is incredibly frustrating especially with the complete lack of customer support. I am really hoping PokerStars gets approved ASAP!!

What is traffic like on WSOP? I haven't been able to sign up with them because they keep saying my ssn and birthday don't match. Also how is their software/lobby compared to Party/Borgata?

All you did was re-boot your mac and Borgata decided to accept your geolocation?

I'm in the same boat with 888 and wsop, but I got party to work, but borgata kept saying I was out of state. Haven't tried any of the others.
