Still didn't get the free $50 loaded into my account on Borgatapoker.com. E-mailing customer service is also a joke and it took 3 whole days to get back to me about the issue and it's still not resolved. The funny thing is that I did get the $15 (bonus?) in my Partypoker account and also a $5 tournament ticket. I may give Borgatapoker.com benefit of the doubt but hopefully I get some answers.

PS: Did anyone try out the Partypoker.com app yet? It's not available in the app store yet but you have to download directly from the site. I haven't been able to successfully log into the app at all for some reason.

I know you are able to withdraw at the borgata can you also deposit there?

Anyone know if any relatively high stakes games will be playing tomorrow 2/4nl and up?

Just tried to check for you and yeah, same thing. Most likely doing some last minute updating. I'm not sure how official the tweet was that was posted earlier about the majority of sites being open.

On another note, anyone know if I can sign up for Skrill not being a NJ resident? I will be there for a week and I'd like to just link everything to Skrill to make things easy.

The account name, address, social security etc....etc...etc...are all the same on both sites. I created my account on Borgata 1st.....and chose my screen name. When I created my Party Poker account, it FORCED me to create a different user/screen name. It became immediately obvious that the shared platform was recognizing that my screen name was already being used (but it could not detect that it was being used BY ME).

So that answers my question about whether I am playing for real money or whether Borgata is still in testing mode at the moment.

Not sure which sites are actually offering real money early that were mentioned.
Thanks!
The bonus is real money and seems to be even be available for withdraw based on how it shows up in the cashier. It was just a promotion to get people playing since they couldn't deposit.

I still can't believe that on the same network you can have multiple usernames....that is just odd and no bueno in my book
yea, no kidding....i thought this was weird too. and it's not just that you CAN.....but it forces you to. you MUST have multiple names if you wish to have an account on both sites.

Pretty much every poker network lets you have a name for each skin. They can't let you use the same name on different skins because each skin is ran by different people.

Getting the following message on Borgata when I go to the cashier 'Deposit' tab, even though I am sitting out at a table where I have been playing for about an hour???

"You are either registered in or have logged in from a jurisdiction where we do not allow the use of our product. If you want more information, or want to access your account, please contact Customer Care."

I am located well within the NJ border (7 miles or so).
I stopped sitting out and am able to keep playing ironically (presumably for play money though).

Anyone else getting this?
Is this message simply occurring during the test period only to prevent real deposits?
If so it is misleading at best...

I'll contact support to get the scoop.

...but if they can let me, the individual, play on diff skins, then why not let me (or even require me) to use the same screen name ?

seems like an over site or a glitch to me

The $50 bonus is not play money. I'm not sure why you think it is? Very weird that you can play yet your cashier says that.

The individual skin has your account information. The account you created on Borgata is in no way, shape, or form associated with Party Poker. Each skin is its own separate entity that plays under the network umbrella essentially only sharing software and a set of general rules. You can't use a name two places because you are opening a new account and the screen name is being used already, even if it's by you.

Party Poker only provides software for Borgata, they don't run the skin.

Thanks for the confirmation and reply.
So we're playing real money now at Borgata (?), but they are just capped at 500 players due to testing or due to state regulations that expire at midnight tonight?

As an update to the deposit tab error message I got before, now I am seeing the following message instead which is normal:

Important Info:
We are currently in test mode on the cashier during this initial soft launch phase. More payment methods will be added in the coming days.

This is actually what I saw before (I now see that I had navigated to the deposit tab earlier once or twice and seen the same thing - needed to see the payment methods to remind me where I had been while experimenting with the app).

So I am now not seeing the message stating I am either not located in NJ or not registered in NJ when I go to cashier to the deposit tab.

Not sure if it is an intermittent known issue or something else.

Thanks.

It appears to be some sort of temporary glitch it appears since I am now not getting the error message any longer and instead am getting:

Some extremely loose players so far (understatement).
Too bad I am running below EV tonight.
Hard to believe this is real money the way they are playing.

Correct, you are playing for real money and have been the whole time. That's why they did the $50 bonus for signing up because the cashier wasn't up and running. Anything you have won from whenever you started playing is real and yours to keep.

Most likely you just had a random glitch with the geo location. Seems to be happening quite a bit. Hopefully it's fixed by this weekend when I can get on.

I opted to use the 4 digit security code to log in to the sites that offered it. It is a great idea but in practice it is awful. I am not receiving the email for quite some time. Is there an option or will there be in the future to have the code texted to you?

Yes, I hope it is just an intermittent glitch they can iron out soon since I am a good 6 miles from the border.
One would think that is enough, even if they are playing it safe to start to ensure no out of state players near the NJ border play.
That would provide ammo for opponents of online poker, as someone noted earlier this evening.

The play is getting more and more loose as the night goes on.
Play money on Stars is almost less loose.

Well, I just lost my buy-in with JJ agst 44 and K10.
I 3 bet all-in pre with 19 BB (bought in for 30 BB to start to get a feel for site) and got called by both opponents who each only had 3.5 BB invested.

K-10 flopped a set as a reward for the great call.
Had been playing tight all night and they still BOTH call 4 bet all-in pre?
I was just trying to isolate to heads up which would have worked since 44 would have lost and K-10 had no business staying in.
Pokerstars micro was never this bad.

Here's another wonderful thing about WSOP.com. Not only does it throw me off line on a regular basis (usually in the middle of a hand) when I'm in the middle of replaying a hand and taking notes, it closes them too. fabulous. This geolocation system has got to go. ggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

don't think this is true...i am pretty sure the $50 is only for the people who wre chosen to test the system...once they go to full launch you will have to re deposit or play with the $20 bonus they are giving for new account i.e. everyone
