Assuming it is same software as NV, there is no way to take notes at UP. Looking at the NJ platform it appears to be exactly the same.

Am I missing something or is this lobby that horrible?
There is a button that changes it to the traditional view.

Lots of freerolls on most of the sites. Betfair has zero traffic? See no one playing. Of course they didn't offer anything to play yet.

Ironically they were the only site I heard advertising on the radio.

Can I get a few opinions on which is the best site so far based on types of players, rake percentages, etc. I'm hearing good things about WSOP so far.

I'd love to play the party poker tournaments the rep has mentioned, if the software wasn't so buggy. I'm in the middle of a freeroll right now. I have to keep forcing it to close because my betting buttons keep disappearing. And when I try to register for another tournament I can't even access the tournament list because the window is frozen. I know it's a soft opening, but the software needs to work. What's going to happen when the casual player tries this?

It also sucks that you can't have a support window running for both sites since I feel like Party support can't help me with my Borgata account...
I've never been able to get connected thru live chat queue but always have been able to connect via phone to both. Note never tried before 9 am or after 10 pm.

The traditional view still does not list specific tables or the number of players at them.

imo, wsop has been the best site so far but i'm gonna have to give ultimate some business since I have a signature card at the taj...deposits for both can be easily made at caesars and taj's cash cages...borg's got the highest rake prob bcz they know they're gonna get loads of players but the graphics are hurting...

I apologize for my whining and thank you for both of your posts. Very respectful despite me being whiny. I'm sorry and I will stop.

You two guys are right with everything you say. Sometimes I feel like complaining will make it better but it doesn't just have to brush it off. I do play the game well and that's why I hate getting donked by players that have no clue how to play hold-em. But whatever it's a bad run and no one wants to hear it.

So I'm done. Sorry to all and hope you forgive me. I'm going to withhold my opinion of these sites for now on. They've all been very fun so far.

Thank you for this. This is literally the last option that I hadn't tried yet. Can you verify that they geolocate with your cell phone?

Sorry to repeat my previous posts but I still haven't gotten a solid answer.

Is SSN required for all the sites opening up in NJ?

I'm not very comfortable giving out that information over the internet, especially on unproven software to unproven business.

Does anyone happen to know why this information is even required in the first place? I'd have to assume for taxation reasons.

can't register without it for several reasons...some are that just like with a credit report, it's used as a locator to cross-check your address...it's also required for federal reporting should there be any significant income earned on a player's account...if you're overly-concerned about it, I suggest you subscribe to lifelock for your protection...

I have been really frustrated trying to play on BorgataPoker since the launch began. Today I finally figured out the problem. My MAC had "screen sharing" checked off in the "Settings" ===> "Sharing" section. Once I unchecked it, all systems go today. You can't have any kind of screen or sharing services enabled if you want to play. I bet this helps a lot of folks.

Being a douche on the internet is difficult.

I've had issues in the past giving out much less information than that.

Did you try calling them thats what i did. Party says this is because of the soft play launch and will be resolved when they go live on the 26th. The geolcation by phone will not be availible until then which is why they are probally so confident. Go to Ultimate in the mean time they are using cell phone verification(Only one i know of atm) and working great. WSOP and 888 i can't get on because i am "Running a VPN software or something" WHich is a lie i am not. Before you bash me for saying that i am a computer scientist and i am not so shhh. Ultimate has exp with this type of thing which is why they are only ones working. Others will work on 26th or so i have been assured by betfair and party not sure about ceasers i just want my free money :P.

This thread moves so fast so I apologize if this has been covered.

Has anyone else has trouble downloading the Ultimate Poker software? I'm getting a message saying to contact the application vendor to see if it's a valid Windows application?

These websites are licensed with the super-stringent NJ State Dept of Gaming Enforcement and backed by massive casino companies... and you think they're going to steal your social security number to get the $200 in your bank account?

Not going to derail the thread anymore but you do realize it wouldn't have to be the company itself abusing it''s access to your information. Even government agencies are hacked on a daily basis. I'm sure they are more competent than the government at security though considering how well they handle basic technical support like wifi acess.

For those familiar with Party Poker (or perhaps the Party Poker Rep can comment), are the MTT payout structures really this ridiculously flat? The $500 guaranteed tournament the rep was plugging currently has payouts as follows:

1) $125
2) $110
3) $85
4) $70
5) $60
6) $50

IMHO, that is AWFUL!
