if they don't meet the min guarantee they will cancel the tourney

tourneys go under guarantee on 888/wsop all the time, they dont cancel it if it goes past minimum members

Wanted to post just to give a heads up. This is mostly my falt but i feel it is some what wrong on behalf of Ultimate Poker. I deposits 20 dollars during the soft play period because lets face it who wants to place 50-500 dollars during the test phase. I asked a rep if i could take advantage of the initial deposit bonus post test phase so on the 26th. She said no that they wanted to offer the bonus as soon as possible and that they can not apply the bonus to another deposit. This is not a big deal there are plenty of other sites i just wanted to warn others who might be thinking of doing so and to wait or deposit more if you want to take advantage of the offer.

+1 the tables also look really gross to me. There's a button on the right you can make it more like a grid but it still doesn't look too great. What happened to the old school party poker? That was 10 times better.

Just to update - couldn't get SSN verified on Borgata. Called support last night and rep told me to wait a few hours since their system is collecting player data at set points throughout the day (i.e. in 2 hour increments). He said to check back in a few hours and i should be verified.

This seemed pretty strange to me and sure enough, I log back in 10 hours later and I'm still not verified. I call support back, speak with a different rep and she tells me that Borgata has a lag on player SSN verification at the moment and that it may take up to two days to verify each newly registered player's SSN. She assured me it's something they're aware of and gave the impression that they're certain it will be fully resolved by full launch. I suppose time will tell.

you need to chill.

sites are barrrrely launching now, many features are still being worked on. many features are not rolled out yet because it's still a soft launch.

just becase there's not (insert your favorite game) now does not mean it wont' be there in a week or two

I sat in one this morning - there were only 2 people and they cancelled it. That's the only reason I sat down.

I have read this entire thread. In General are we seeing progress since soft launch started? Still sounds like a mountain of problems and I think anyone that thinks this will be glitch free come the 26th is insane.

Yes, everyone is...I have new top of the line computers and fastest internet possible too.

Also agreed to the other post about them needing to change the party/borgota lobbies to advanced and not the way it is by default right now...It's too hard for the casual player to know how to click and change it. Do this now.

Interesting problem with the tight regs and security in NJ that goes to your question of how many NJ players there will be. I signed up Friday for Harrahs NJ site and deposited money. So far so good. But when I went to play, I got 2 error messages:
1> 'Remote Control Software is running on your computer and you have to shut that off.' Despite an hour with Support, we couldn't figure out why I was being blocked and I'm a computer guy! Any ideas?
2> 'We cannot verify your location.' They do this by cellphone. Mine was on and in Central NJ.

So this is all goes to your question of how many players will there be. Answer: a lot less if my experience is typical.

Now going through hoops trying to get my money back. Argh.

Last I checked, they had about a half dozen ring games going at varied stakes, but I deposited money but can't play due to error messages I'm getting. So based on this experience and what I'm seeing in the threads, I'm going to wait until they iron out most of these problems. Hope to play soon - miss Pokerstars and Full Tilt!

Party/Borgata do share. Betfair/Golden Nugget when GN gets up to speed do share. Ultimate on its own. WSOPNJ/888 - Nope.

Each lobby lists the minimum number of people to sign up for it to run. The minimum was 4.

Update: No replies from Borgata, Party, or WSOP support. If WSOP uses cell location, I should be able to get on. The problem is I never received a text and can't contact anyone who can help. I don't know what the deal is with Party but it's frustrating because I have $50 bonus that I am unable to claim.

Why does Borgata's site not allow you to view the available tables to sit at? Has to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Trying to sit at a .25/.50 table but they continue to seat me at an empty table while others have players.

Am I missing something or is this lobby that horrible?

Is there a way to take player notes on Ultimate? I may just be blind but I don't see one.

I've read every link on this page. Can someone from Party tell me why I'm able to log in but unable to verify location on Borgata and have been unable to create an account on Party due to them saying I already have an account? I've tried waiting in the live chat queue but have never gotten a hold of anyone on either Borgata or Party's site. It also sucks that you can't have a support window running for both sites since I feel like Party support can't help me with my Borgata account...

i've been in the support queue for 2 hours saying i'm next in line lol
