"The $1 million prize will include a WPT Alpha 8 super high roller package ($100K), a WPT World Championship seat ($15K), two entries to $3,500 WPT events held at the Borgata Casino ($7K), 52 tournament entries to the Sunday $50K ($10,400), $8,000 in live tournament entries at the Borgata Casino."

That's 140,400 in tourny entries, still pretty good for a freeroll.

Can someone who has Borgatapoker let us know what the store looks like so we can figure out the value of their VIP program?

Edit: just went to wsop.com and you can dl software now. It says at the top 'play' is limited to certain hours.

Edit2: wsop has some December promos up to look at. One of them is no fees on SnGs from 9am to 3pm all December.

The most important things are the Wi-Fi being enabled and remote programs being turned off.
What does tihs mean by the wifi being enabled like on cause i am on the internet through my wifi but the guy at betfair told me my wifi was not enabled.

I live in New York State but will be visiting relatives in New Jersey (Freehold Area) in about a week. I want to take part in the iGaming but just had a few questions concerning sign up requirements. I've read that you just have to be within statelines to play, not an actual resident, correct me if I'm wrong. I've heard things like you need to scan your driver's license and send it to the companies which would be a real pain. Is that true? If not, what do I need to sign up without any problems. Also, for those that have participated in the launch so far, what would be the best site to go with, thanks.

they verify your name and address against your social security number to check that everything matches (or something like that...i believe they run your name agsints ssn and address against credit databases or something)...if everything matches, then you should be good to go. the only reason you have to send documents is if there is something that does not match.

some users are having no problems, while others have had problems that their address did not match and were asked to upload documents.

No one knows. Too early to tell. My guess would be Party and WSOP.

The download is supposed to start automatically. You go to Play Online Poker > Real Money and then Play Now. It didn't work in Mozilla or Chrome for me but working in IE.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but looks like Party is having a pretty cool million-dollar tournament with lots of easy chances to qualify, the actual final is a live tourney at the Borgata on Feb 1st.

Edit: apologies I see this was just mentioned a few posts above, not sure how I missed it lol...

I was planning on playing the soft launch but to be honest it's only a few more days and I think after waiting this long my plan is to just wait until they open up on the 26th. Tough to get any read on where to play until the general public starts playing...

I certainly think Party/Borgata SHOULD have the edge given the Borgata's popularity among live poker players but I guess it remains to be seen. Clearly too many sites right now, even when they all go live I can only imagine a few sticking around for the long-haul (at poker anyway - obviously regular casino games can get by with less traffic).

6pm - 2am again tonight

Then at 8 am they'll be open for good. Open at all times! Christmas came early this year!

Agreed, I think I'm gonna see where the most action is, where is mac comparable and who allows huds

No, you will need to send a copy of your photo id at the minimum. Any cell phone camera picture will do.

Pretty sure Party/Borg is the only one allowing/going to allow huds. But they also have the highest rake and weakest VIP program it seems.

Are they mac accessible?

The two factors most important to me are that the sites are mac compatible, players can use huds, and take is good

CC deposit? What stakes/format? And how many tables of that were running, roughly, if you don't mind giving a quick report.

Does 888 poker have any rakeback or VIP points? I see WSOP.com does but I can't see anything about it on 888s site
