That's pretty telling. I thought verifications were improving. I've certainly seen less complaints last few weeks

In the $555 noverlay there was nothing in the lobby to indicate it was a rebuy but apparently it is. Also nothing in the lobby to show how many rebuys/addons are taken... plus they charge $5 for each rebuy even though buyin is $4.50.

Site kind of blows quite honestly. Since I don't know how many rebuys/addons were taken I can't tell how close we came to meeting the guarantee.

Edit: Actually does say rebuys in the details section to the right when you click on the tourney, but the tourney is just listed as "555 nightly" - no mention of R&A like all the other rebuy tournaments.

Does anyone drive from CT to NJ to play online? If so, are you setting up shop in a Starbucks/McD's/etc? Thinking about trying this on a Sat, or maybe finding a last-minute hotel deal.

Am I missing something or does UP not have any way to call up hand histories in game?

It's just with UP, they have to send you a plug in. They should include it with the software but they don't. After the plug in I have no problems being verified.

I was staying at Revel about a month ago and had no problem connecting to 888 and playing.

So brutal. Borgata just decided I wasn't in NJ at a Final Table. Thanks Borgata Poker.

Anyone have any luck getting any kind of $ from them for that crap? It normally works 99% of the time for me and this is the first time I've ever had trouble. If you were going to try to pursue some kind of compensation, how would you go about doing that?

This is my post on the 888 Poker thread, but the same would apply to Borgata.

Seems I have figured out exactly how Caesars/888 are trying to trick us out of getting the rakeback on their promotional offer.

We all got an email asking us if we wanted to opt out of the logon notification emails. I did it, and so did probably most of you.

Did the login notifications stop? Nope, of course not.

Ya know what did stop? The promotional offers, like the freerolls, and now the rakeback claiming emails.

They literally sent out that email to trick us into opting out of being able to CLAIM their promotions we were promised.

Take Action

Calling 888 does very little at all, most of us realize this.

This is a Caesars Entertainment problem, and they probably have no idea 888 is doing this to their customers.

What you have to do is contact Caesars directly by phone and email.

Phone:
Customer Relations: (609)441-5132

Email Link
https://www.totalrewards.com/Custome...L&displayCode=

You MUST file a complaint with Caesars Entertainment directly, and after they respond then you must file the complaint with the New Jersey Internet Gambling Department here:
http://www.nj.gov/oag/ge/inquiriespatroncomplaints.html

Direct link to the NJ Internet Gaming Dispute Form:
http://www.nj.gov/oag/ge/docs/Intern...isputeForm.pdf

Make sure in your complaint that you let them know you are waiting on their response so that you can file the complaint with the gambling commission.

This is the only way to let Caesars actually know what their online poker room they have brought on is doing to their (Caesar's) customers.

Also
Make sure when you contact Caesars and the NJ Gambling Commission to not refer to "888 Poker" as something different from Caesars Entertainment Inc. They are the same thing so whenever filing anything just refer to Caesars Online Poker don't make it seem like another company called "888 Poker"

This happened to me at the final table of the next nj millionaire semi. Was 4 handed with 13 bb, got back on the site with about 6 bb left.

This was december 22, was too sick over it to share on here or even complain to Borgata. Worst spot ever for that to happen

Yeah, I was hoping to jump into 4 or 5 of those. Maybe next weekend, or even during the week.

888/ WSOP's software is clearly the best.

UP is just so clunky and it's kind of hard to see who has cards imo. And if you play tournaments the non staggered breaks is so 2003 and unbearable

Also, unless it has changed, you can deposit via echeck but can't withdraw that way. Had to get a paper check.

Oh well, free EV is free EV, and still easier to deal with than anything post BF.

Yeah their software is just terrible, even the fonts they use to show how many chips you have is tough to read... no 1/2 pot bet button either that I could see. Plus nowhere in the lobby do they list the #of rebuys/addons. Played the $555 noverlay and had 49 runners, was trying to see how close we were to reaching the guarantee but couldn't. Not to mention it wasn't even listed as a rebuy in the lobby, thought it was a freezeout.

Will try again during the week but unless they meet the guarantee or have a truly massive overlay I'd rather play anywhere else.

I spread the word at the Borgata 100k this weekend. Some comments I got "I didn't get that email" "I can't get verified" "I tried the software and deleted it soon after, no HH, no notes, no time bank". A few said they were going to check it out. I discussed with at least 50 people or so over the 16 hr tourn.
