I see a big climb in 888, but wonder how much of that is due to the 50% refund up to $50...which is a huge promo for someone playing $5-$25 tourneys

But overall I see some progress in WSOP and 888 in terms of PLO, O8, and Stud High games going...slow but trending up

Yea the 10k freeroll used to get 400-600 nightly. The last week or so, it's been upwards of 700-900 players.

Hey I got a 'liability transfer from cash to T$' from Borgata Poker for 5.60 in tourney dollars the other morning. Does anybody know what this is for? Looks like it's just free tourney dollars for some reason.

Probably from Missions 2. It's a promo listed under rewards.

this has been brought up a little bit about tournament times. but are the people in charge of the sites really this dumb? why are the major tournaments starting around 9.pm? on these sites. 888 big sunday and deepstack at 9:00 and 9:45. WSOP 10k starts at 8 and 5k starts at 9. These tournaments should be starting at 4-6 p.m eastern. If the sites need to hire someone to manage when to start these tournaments i will gladly take the job and do better then whoever is setting them up now.

probably a stupid question but what does "200nl" mean when referring to a cash game table? i've seen a lot of variations of this like "25nl". just curious

Just because the times aren't good for you doesn't mean they aren't good for the majority. Lots of people have wives/kids that they want to spend time with and 8 or 9 pm is much better.

how can you say those times are good for the majority? it takes 4 hours to cash in those types of tournaments so thats at least 1:00 am the tournament probably does not end till 4:00 am. im guessing the majority has work in the morning and does not bother registering

I'm pretty sure this was answered but I can't find it here or on the website, If I get Black Card or BCE status at Borgatapoker.com will they give me an IRL black card?

You asked how I could say those times aren't good for the majority. Did you even read my post? I explained exactly why. People have wives/kids/girlfriends. They like to have dinner with their families, or might need to do laundry or go food shopping after work.

Tonight's 10k Started at 8:08 and ended at 12:30.

If that's past your bedtime, don't play it. They have the $30 1K guarantee at 6:06. Play that. it isn't like they don't run tourneys 24 hours a day.

You should play at Ultimate Poker. Their 5k is at 7:30pm every night. Great site with a lot of good tourneys starting around 530-6pm every night.

not everyone is happy playing a 5$ 350$ guarantee or tournaments that dont even get over 400$ first prize.
