New Jersey Online Poker Thread - Page 49 - Internet Poker

Yes I am a NJ resident. When I try to play a cash game it tells me a I need a real money account to sit at this table. Would you like to activate it? When i click yes it just brings me to the cashier which is not working.

Was there something else I needed to do when creating an account to make it a real money account?

Not sure cause I am in the same boat as you. I have $0 and emailed support to see but have not got a response yet. I uploaded my driver's license to see if that would do anything.

oh well i guess i will keep playing with the 10 bucks i deposited on Ultimate. 50 free would be nice though.

Mine was in my account within 10 minutes and I'm not even in the state to play. Did you download it directly from the Borgata site? If so, I'd assume it'd be there shortly and if not support will get it handled.

By the way since Borgata isn't doing deposits, imagine they are just going to take this all away before launch and this is just play money. Have they confirmed this is for real?

They aren't going to take away the free money they are giving out. It will most likely have play through requirements like any other bonus, but it isn't play money. It's a promotion to get people to sign up, not a forever thing. Many sites in the EU do similar things to get players since there is so much competition.

Edit: I can't find play through requirements any where and when I go to withdrawal it shows the full amount available. So maybe there isn't play through requirements?

You have to have an adapter on your desktop, but you don't need to connect through it. Apparently, the sites will send you a wifi adapter for free if you ask them.

So, I'm going to assume Borgata and Party will be sharing a player pool since it's the same software and you can't have the same name on both sites.( I have a username no one else will have) Any truth to this? Also, does anyone know if you have a Party Poker account for the ROW if you will be able to use it in NJ, or do you have to sign up for a new one?

Party Poker wins my business. Havent gotten any other site to work until today. DL'ed, signed up with no SSN issues I've had with other sites like WSOP, and no location issues.

Highest stakes they have are $25/50
I see some hu tables at like 1/2 and 2/4, I'm sure there are lower limit hu games but just glancing now.

I've been playing on party poker, its been pretty good but somewhat glitchy when trying to do more than 6 tables at a time.
It has been good to me so far, no deposit and I am at $72 from the $10 signup bonus alone

Trying to see how long I can go without making a deposit!

I was having this prob too, but once I moved my laptop to a spot in the house where I picked up a few of my neighbors signals it was fixed.

They need a few connections available on your PC in order to triangulate your location to a satisfactory degree I guess?

hahaha It's so fun to be able to play again

PT4 recognizes the hands and imports them but my hud does not pop up. I dont ever use PT4 just have it in case, so not sure if theres something else I have to do other than add the folder.

I just got mine to pop and im in an MTT. I haven't used PT4 before b/c last time I played was on PT3. Once you set it up and set the folder you want it to pull from click the "start receiving hands under the "play poker" tab and it should pop up after a few seconds!
