Tried everything but still cant connect to Borgata or WSOP. Borgata says im not in NJ, which i am. And WSOP says theres remote control software running, which there isnt.
I have nothing else open except the WSOP client, or Borgata client.
Do you have teamviewer installed? Even if you are not running teamviewer, the process might be open and causing WSOP to give you that error. Or Micogo or VPN or Gotomeeting, webex etc. Try uninstalling teamviewer and reboot your system.
If that does not work, Try posting a screenshot of your processes(task manager) and someone here can help you.

What site seems to have the best customer service so far?
Ultimate Poker by far IMO. You can get live support instantly.
That said I wasn't able to deposit via debit card and it's the only of the 3 sites that has trouble verifying my location.
Haven't played a hand there, but you can tell customer service will be a priority.
I'm rooting for them but doubt they'll be able to draw the traffic of WSOP and Borgota (forget about it if stars ever comes back).
Has anybody installed both 888 and WSOP on the same pc?
I have, but haven't been able to play on WSOP yet. Having the "location" problems. Log on for a few minutes and then the message pops up saying they can't verify my location.
Haven't tried playing on 888 yet. I do know that I had to use DIFFERENT user names when registering though. When I tried to use my normal one on 888 after registering on WSOP, it said my name was taken. Yes it was...by me.
I've played 3 $1 tournaments on PartyPoker this afternoon and everything's going smoothy. Haven't tried Borgata yet.
Got email with $50 offer for Borgatacasino.com not borgatapoker.com. Have not gotten an answer on if it can be used and crossed over to poker.

Having no problem with Ultimate but the borgata site still says I am not in NJ. Only 4 tables running on Ultimate. Couldn't see borgata tables but it says 168 players.
Did you get an invitation from Borgata, or just went and signed up on their site? Also, did you get the $50 that others are talking about? Thanks.
i went to their website and downloaded the borgatapoker not the borgata casino and yes i did get the $50 all while im sitting at my house in philadelphia.

Cool! Notice that $20 sign up fee offer is not vaild during the test period. Not sure if that means you will get another $20 when it goes live. I did ask that question in my email to them.
Neither site -- neither ultimate nor borgata -- thinks I am in NJ. I am.
My server computer with no wireless will apparently not work, at least according to ultimate (borgata gave no reasons, just said 'try again on 11/26). So I tried my laptop which uses wireless. That also says it cannot tell I am in NJ. Ultimate is trying to help me, but they seem to not know what to do. I am very computer saavy, I run a nice dell laptop on a network with a netgear router and standard optonline modem. Cellphone is in the same room. Central NJ. Any ideas anyone? thanks,
Tried to sign up for the Borgata and it says I can't sign up for a technical reason. I'm not in NJ, but assumed I could sign up and secure my name and deposit. I'm coming to NJ next weekend, you can play while visiting right?

Well, apparently it worked for me but said it didn't lol. I went to sign up again and it said my name was taken, so I tried logging in and voila. Account says $50.01, but then immediately got the pop up saying I couldn't play from my state. Can't wait to check the games out next week even though it's on the God awful Party software. Hopefully the lobby's don't lag as bad as they do on the regular Party website. Trying to go through that lobby is like pulling teeth.
Sites will be open for business on the 26th though. When I try to sit a table it tells me I will automatically be able to play once I'm within the state. Welcome to the future, America!
Yes I am a NJ resident. When I try to play a cash game it tells me a I need a real money account to sit at this table. Would you like to activate it? When i click yes it just brings me to the cashier which is not working.
Was there something else I needed to do when creating an account to make it a real money account?
