hey guys,
I grinded microstakes for 4 years and over that time period ive deposited on Stars, Cake, AP, UB, Bodog...and finally settled in at FTP. the problem is, i didnt discover Rakeback (which is obv very important grinding these levels) until after i had played for real money.

Its my understanding that nowadays its nearly impossible to get rakeback on an existing account so ive been playing under my girlfriends (of 2+ years) account which was setup with 27% RB.

Since switching to her account, ive started to move up and am at the point where im gonna be cashing out $1000+ on a regular basis. this really sucks cuz all the checks are made out to her and i dont even wanna think about how troublesome things will get come tax time.

So im stuck at the moment...ive already made one cashout in her name and i dont know what to do with my remaining 7k bankroll. I really wanna stay at full tilt...here are what seem to be my only options. plz comment which would be the best if u were in my shoes.

1). continue to play under her name and hope we stay together and try to work out the tax issues.

2) try to transfer money to my original account only when cashing out.

3) transfer my roll to the orig account and play on it without RB.

4) move my roll to stars or another site where i can still get RB.

5) try to get RB on orig. account?

im open for suggestions here...thanks, im totally stressed over this.

Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when we practice to deceive.

Sry, I'm not a serious guy nor am I a full time pro. But I do think you dug yourself a hole here and won't get much sympathy.

option #2 is your best bet. I would play a little bit on your on account after transfering the money then wait a few days or even a week before cashing out. It should work fine without any problems.

Seems like a smart place to start.

** Official thread for RakebackPros discussion and RB for existing FT accounts

Wait, what? This is by far the worst option IMO. I don't think it's too wise for OP to waive a red flag in front of FT saying "Hey! We're the same person!!"

Just try to get on the rakeback list for existing FT players. You'll be happier in the long run.

cash out to an ewallet, then cash out to your bank from the ewallet.

don't sleep with her best friend (unless she is really hot then make it a threesome so she doesn't get jealous).

What is her FTP username?

#2 they catch you sooner or later. Def. request rakeback and hope to be added within a month or two.

Wisest option by far.

this sounds like a good idea but...the only withdrawal options available from FTP currently are bank transfer and check.

where can i get put on a list to get existing account rakeback?

Any method you have used to deposit on FTP can then be used as a withdrawal method.

If you have not deposited with an ewallet, you cannot cash out to that ewallet.

Email Tilt from your original name saying you are a full time player who would generate a lot of rake for their site, but refuse to play on it without Rakeback.

I see no such rule on the site rules here.

Only thing is #2 but it doesn't say that. Think about how trex and urin have been doing it for all those years and how different members of families living in the same place play and have their own separate accounts.

why does everyone hate this option so much?? i did this for a small sum ($100) and had no problems, although I am in the same boat as OP and somewhat paranoid about cashing out larger sums. even if caught, its not like your roll will be confiscated.

doing this option, i am somewhat against playing on your old account after xferring, bc that is playing on 2 different names.

If you get transferred a small sum as a one off and cashout without playing, they may or may not notice and may not care too much if they do notice.

If you get transferred a worthwhile amount and cashout without playing, they will notice, but may let it go as a one off.

If you get transferred a worthwile amount regularly and attempt to cashout without playing, you will be asked for an explanation.

What's the difference between confiscated and temporarily frozen (until you jump through impossible hoops)?

why would an explanation be worth anything to them? they know anyone is capable of making up some legit excuse.

You answered your own question with the bolded part. Just because you got away with it once doesn't mean you will again. You might, and you might even get away with it forever. Like you say, they shouldn't be confiscating your roll, so maybe this is your best play, IDK. It's bad advice for the OP though, because he is currently able to cash out without transferring. He's better off to keep cashing out the way he is and see if he can get RB on his account in the meantime. If he can't, then he'll have to consider his options.

And you don't think they'll be asking for something to back it up?

FT: Why are you transferring money from active account A to dormant account B and then cashing out?

You: My Dad doesn't have a bank account, so he gets me to cash out for him.

FT: Oh, OK. Cool.

Pretty sure that isn't quite the way it goes.
