Worked fine for me. Theoretically you might be able to get a "first" time deposit bonus from this as well, in a theoretical sense, in theory.

It's hard to imagine that they wouldn't let you change your screen name. It's a matter of security to you.

After reading this thread and seeing people getting an ID change due to their name being involved, I thought stars would show me the same understanding.

No dice. Even though I pointed out that my only concern was my privacy/security.
They'll let me change my pic though.. which was my secondary request. wtf.

I guess I'll just reply that I'm not satisfied knowing that others have had this request fulfilled.

Truthfully, it's not excessively embarrassing. I used that excuse with Stars (and here) to demonstrate that I had a valid reason for requesting the name change. It's ridiculous that Stars would refuse to allow me to change my screen name, especially since I hadn't played there in well over a year. And how much more unconscionable is their treatment of players such as Pokerscaresme.

But I like playing on Stars in spite of their unfathomable policy.
