If I open a Full Tilt account in my name and my fiance uses her credit card to fund it (yes she is willing, lol), will I have any problems cashing out down the road?

Thanks!

why dont you use your own credit card or use her name on the account?

That sounds even better. If I use her name and my card, will SHE be able to cash out later?

You darn skippy I'm scamming here - but not on my GF - I want a FT account with RAKEBACK That's all.

If shes willing to fund it just put her name on the account?

Or just use a moneybookers/neteller account.

I suppose that's the obvious answer - she is willing to do both. It would be easier if I just funded it though - instead of paying her back, etc. I could just do it up with my card. Prolly the safest would be her name, her card - but that way she gets the checks, lol.

Or you can make a different account with her name deposit on that and transfer to your own

OOHHHHHHH

Technically - it doesn't even break any rules. We are roommates and... "she just plays a lot more than me".

Thanks man!

I wouldn't do this, it would be really obvious. You will be caught.

The problem is that there is a waiting period for p2p transfers for new accounts I think. If you're willing to wait, then by all means.

I've used my GF's debit card (w/ permission) once before for my FTP account and had no issues with any subsequent transactions. Kinda sketchy on FTP's part now that I think about it.

Ya, I don't really see any rules being broken here.

I don't think I mind - how long is the waiting period?

I think it's either 60 or 90 days after the initial deposit to make sure the funds clear first.

Hmm, I used my credit card to make a deposit for a friend on another site (ipoker skin). His account was frozen, which was obviously coming. But if we give them this explanation and he emails them a screenshot of my online CC statement, showing the transfer, will this be cleared up?

I think you're better off emailing the site yourself to explain the situation. They'll obviously want you to prove your identity to them and that you had indeed authorized the transaction. It's no guarantee that they'll un-freeze your friend's account tho. You may also include in the email that you are your friend's recent move-in gay partner.

Here is a crazy idea. Why don't you open an account (with rakeback) in your name and ask FTP for the best way to deposit and withdraw.

Already an account in my name with no rakeback.

We'll have to go with an account in her name that she funds. She can transfer any winnings to my account if she so chooses. No rules broken.

No providing she plays it.

On and on about no rules broken. It's really quite simple. FT only allows each person one account. Once you have an account without RB, they don't allow you another one to get RB. They go to great lengths to make sure you don't get around this. If your fiancé is going to be opening a RB account and cash out through your account, they'll want to know why, because this is like waving a red flag telling them you're trying to circumvent their rules. I have no idea if they'll allow this, but I would suspect not. They'll more than likely want your fiancé to cash out her own funds. Believe it or not, you're not the first person to have thought of this.

You prolly right Bobo - it violates "intent" of the rules (happy birthday in advance btw).

She says that she is willing to cash out once a month and run to the bank with me. She is suprisingly supportive of my poker playing.

Thanks to all for the input - I won't ramble on 'bout it anymore.

yes. tbh you are trying to be shifty and it will probably backfire and you will lose when your GF boots you and takes ur money. seriously rakeback isnt the nuts and you are better off trying to actually get better at poker or playing at a decent site rather than trying to sign up your 'girlfriend', mom, pop, daughter or realestateagent for poker accounts. oops.
